We had two entries this round:
(1) @justclickindiva - The Handyman
(2) @chireerocks - Harassment
An honorable mention:
@wakeupkitty - No Worries - Although this work didn't follow the contest rules, I think it is worth sharing. When I opened it this morning, I wasn't expecting something so heavy. Thanks for you work.
This week's prompt came about when I read from an acquaintance's post on facebook. In it, she was on a bus when some person decided to go after a woman with some of his venomous verbal abuse. She then did something to interject between them, diverting his attention away from from the person being victimized. Another woman also joined in, making them a powerhouse of three versus one. Eventually, the man got off the bus, having failed in what he was attempting to do.
So, that is how this prompt got chosen. There is power in numbers. When you stand in the light together, that light grows and crowds out the darkness. Possibly, in the future when you're in a similar situation, you'll recall something that you learned from the prompt and use it.
Thanks for everyone's participation. I did enjoy reading the entries.
- A shout out to this weeks resteemers: @girlbeforemirror, @carolkean, @chireerocks, @wakeupkitty, @sarez, @bananafish
Now, the judging. ---
Did I mention that I don't have a lot to say at the moment? 8-)
Enough with the chitty-chat. Let's get the suspense over with.
