Fasting is done from dawn to sunset during which people refrain themselves from food ,drinks or any other worldly desires to teach self-control, self-discipline and to help those in need. This one night, worship is considered better than 1000 months(83 years) of worship. The night in which people(creation) can talk to the one(creator) who created them is obviously the best night. People fast during day and observe prayer, recitation of holy verses and remembering God during night.
