SteemViz update - Reblogs now visible!

I've just pushed an update to steemviz so we can now all see the new ReBlog feature being used in real time :)
For the time being they look like this, and appear in the 3rd column:
It's not pretty, but it works, and since I already had code for follow/unfollow and mute it was a simple addition:

A big chunk of why I'm so excited about Steemit is because of how flexible it is.
Custom json operations and now even custom binary can be used to build layers on top of the core protocol to do all sorts of neat stuff.
I've talked about this recently in "How steemit can shut down its "competition" with some small modifications , and I've started investigating the competition to see what sort of features we can add using these tools.
I tested out some reblogs this morning on a @steemleak post from 2 weeks ago that had previously been sitting around $0.30 ...

So its a very similar custom json operation to the follow, unfollow and mute operations we already had.
Heres the most important part of the transaction:
"["reblog",{"account":"ausbitbank","author":"steemleak","permlink":"wikileaks-weekly-wrap-for-september-1-9th"}]"
That's it! It just says
"ausbitbank wants to reblog steemleaks post with this link" Simple, but powerful. This is what we need, more people curating and commenting on other peoples content instead of only self promotion.
In my opinion this will be a massive boost to steem, and hopefully help attract and maintain a larger audience of curators that aren't interested in creating original content themselves.
It also allows for massively increased visibility for the really important posts - imagine if everyone reblogged the same story :)Success Story reblogging an older @steemleak post !
So my @steemleak post "🌏 Wikileaks Weekly Wrap for September 1-9th 🌏" sat for almost 2 weeks at $0.30 cents.
I'd put a heap of time into it, for nothing and I'd been linking it from my personal post footers and twitter/facebook and promoted with SBD as well.. Within moments of reblogging it I hit $10 and I was stoked :)
The kids are home from school holidays, so I didn't notice the next votes come in ..
Awesome ! Thankyou so much everyone that followed and upvoted @steemleak after this promotion . All funds will be donated to wikileaks as usual, and by the time that 3 week payment comes in we should hopefully have our largest donation yet.
I'm running late on the next archive post for steemleak, and I also have a personal story I'd like to do on a particular wikileaks story from the last week that I'm far too emotionally affected by.. So wikileaks fans please make sure you're following @steemleak or myself to not miss that :)
I'm really excited to see how this feature plays out over the next few days and weeks as more people experiment and report stats.
