We Are Not in a Bubble - It is an Emerging Market

TLTR - This is going to change the financial markets as we know them, and speculation and some evidence below.

As you might have noticed the financial markets took an interest in Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology. Everyone is hungry to get in on the action. A news story I heard covered many times today reported that regular companies are using the words "Blockchain" in press releases to increase the value of their stocks. (link and story below)

The media is covering the frenzy, and it will come and go, but the over all impact is that we are discovering the world wants blockchain and crypto-currencies. Businesses are not ignoring that, in fact they are providing funding as they try to figure out how to capitalize from the emerging market. They are just beginning to build businesses around it. I still feel confident that the Global Crypto Markets have a lot of room for growth and the fact that large companies are joining the space and Wall Street wants to trade it bringing in funds and providing name recognition for the Market Space in General.

A lot of people look at this from the angle of what coins/tokens are going to win. I look at it from a Mass Adoption point of view. When there is a hot new Industry and the money comes in they bring their Organizational Networks with them. They will quickly overwhelm the current players either buying them up or replicating the technology.

What I have seen happen before at this point is those businesses start to acquire knowledge and projects that are ahead in the emerging space. I am unclear how that will play out in the Crypto space. My guess is, there will be head hunters looking for anyone with blockchain experience. There will be companies buying stake and looking to see what projects they might be able to acquire more than 51% . In some cases they will create their own companies.

The Crypto Trading Game has changed in my opinion. It isn't about which coin has the best blockchain anymore, for a short period it might even be about what companies will the big companies put money in. I promise you they will not be worried about whether or not a project was Ninja Mined. Or who "Bipped" and "segwitted". They also will not be asking if someone "Raped the Reward Pool". These issues will go back to developers which is where they belong. The question will be where are the projects that have real-use cases, end-users and functionality. As I keep saying we are winning. We really need to find our voice though to ensure we have a message, a vision and the ability to communicate it.

If you want to profit from an Emerging Market don't marry a Project, watch how the market is developing, watch for companies that are positioning themselves to win. However Steem is a great place to watch and learn, combined with real use cases and an economy which functions.
