Good morning!

I am sitting here, thinking on ways to support this little school of low resources, they want to create a biiig mural for their kids to see daily and cheer them up. This was meant to be done a few months ago. But, due to the VERY low income for the school, which the government provides... it is ALMOST impossible. But with your help, I can provide them with paint, shoes and brushes to help them create this mural.

What is this school's main problems?

-Kids here, barely have breakfast. Families are too poor to be able to buy tortillas, rice or anything at all.

-The school cannot build a kitchen because of the lack of funds.

-Most of the kids do not have shoes. And with the boiling hot temperatures Hermosillo, Sonora has... its... horrible to think about it.

-Most of the kids suffer from psychological, physical and sexual abuse from their parents before sending them to school.

-Tick infestation once every year, or twice.

-No proper restrooms and no water.

-Lack of teachers in all areas. There is simply not enough teachers to be able to fullfill this institution's needs. So kids are left with no classes.

-Some of the AC's do not work. That means that in summer, many times, kids get sent home earlier due to high temperatures.

What do I want to achieve with this crowdfunding?

-Buy each kid a pair of economic shoes. They are 50pesos each. 2.50usd.

-Provide each kid with a brush and paint for all groups to collaborate on a big mural inside their school. (Permission was given.)

-Provide them with water and a snack on our painting sessions.

Why a mural? Why shoes?

Not only is it a promise I made to the school principal, it is also something that I know kids will LOVE to do. One thing that flourishes on a kid's head is creativity. And I want to feed them with it. We plan to make this mural once summer is gone, that's three months from now, perhaps a bit more.

And in the other hand, we have the matter of Shoes. I will be crude in some stuff here, so please be warned.

Kids in this school, located very far away from what Hermosillo is, lacks money, food and common sense. Why common sense? I talked and have been attending to this school to help my mother-in-law with some parties they make to help themselves raise funds, I do my best and take some paint to paint kid's faces. Some of them fear my hand, I cant explain the feeling of them backing their head away, and I know that is a reflex because their parents hit them, sometimes I cover bruises, sometimes I cover scars... Its a lot of stuff to sink in. I talked with one kid in particular, her name is Anita.

She is being raised by her mother and her father. Her mother is a prostitute and her father, abuses her and her mom daily. Anita does not undertand anything at all. She's just hurt. But she still wants to assist to classes and she is the most upbeat and happy girl in the whole school.

TL:DR: Kids need a better view of the world, so I want to provide them paint, shoes, brushes and a snack to help them cheerup and as part of an artistic project that our city shall notice!
