Hive provides tools to build communities, tribes, apps, games and economies within them. Two of the powerful features of the Hive Network is its community building and rewarding its participants.
Since the start of the year 2021 till now Hive blockchain paid out total of $2,820,118.92 in rewards for authors and curators. In the same time period $2,395,144,06 was paid out to all posts and comments within various communities. That shows a strong engagement of participation within communities.
Using HiveSQL I have compiled a list of top 150 Hive communities with the amount of total posts and comments, and rewards paid out for authors and curators. The ranking is based on total rewards.
Numbers for GEMS and LeoFinance are super impressive.
