Hello friends of this community; Well you get better with practice, that's a good truth; I remember when I started working in the hotel chain, in the reservation center, with calls, with sales and I had never done that, ever, I saw people and I thought "how can it be so easy for them, if for me it is so complicated" and I started with that internal voice "I can't", "I'm not good for sales", "this is not for me", "I was not born for this" and I had to change my internal narrative and say "how come those people could and you weren't going to can".

Self-confidence is not feeling less or more than anyone else, it is simply knowing that you are capable of achieving it through practice, study, training, all skills can be developed, because “you become good with practice”, so I decided to accept everything that came to me and do my best knowing that it would not be perfect, that I would make mistakes, but it was the only way to build self-confidence.

Another disadvantage of professional life is the difficulty in negotiating salaries, negotiating projects, sometimes a person accepts any job, any salary because they do not believe themselves to be good enough, they do not have enough confidence to ask for a promotion, to show their achieved goals, in terms of relationships, for example, the person with low self-confidence normally has many problems, they have communication problems.

Constant practice makes these tasks stop seeming as difficult as when I started my job at the reservation center, in the end time passed and what seemed difficult to me before, I was already doing it automatically, because in the end little by little each small step, each small victory reduces our anxiety, gives us more confidence, the great myth is that you first need to feel safe and confident and then act.

Many people say, including me, I told myself, “well when I feel better, when I feel more confident, then I will do it”, but the reality is that that will never happen if you don't start acting, period, by practicing you will realize that you can do it, you will receive positive comments you will receive results and these results themselves are what will encourage you and motivate you to continue.

Imagine self-confidence as a small being that you need to feed, if you feed it and do the things that scare you and make you insecure, that small being of self-confidence will grow, on the contrary, if you stay stagnant, if you stay hidden out of fear, out of insecurity, that small being is going to become weaker and smaller.

Practice is the key and every day we have the opportunity to face our fears and to improve.
