The exam week of my daughter finally ended so now I can starts blogging and doing my old hobby again.
In my previous article I have mentioned about a small plot provided by the property management for the Condo owners to do some little gardening.
A while ago the property manager finally informed me that I can start planting something, cos the previous plants have been harvested.
I was given some guidelines like the varieties of plants that are allowed etc.

By the way there is one of his reminders which quite amused me.
He said I'm required to take care of the raising beds and do the clean up etc my self.
I was like...
Hello, isn't it the point of doing the gardening hobby per se..to work for my own "food"?
It's called a hobby because the person is enjoying the work as a form of relaxation methode?
If I'm not gonna do all the effort my self, why would I bother doing it at all?
Isn't it better to just buy the veggies in the market LOL?
What is the point in gardening in such a small plot, if I still let others working for me?
Isn't it wiser to buy a bigger plot intended for aggriculture and become landlord for a big plantation to start with :-D?!

Probably people here are just accustomed to the idea that the property owners,
well...those type with money, would never get their hand dirty LOL.

Whatever...
Here I'd show you some of the veggies I've already grown in the plot.
I'm told that I'm indeed the only one asking for this benefit,
so I basically can choose which plots I want and how many.

Sounds great 😁, but no, I wouldn't tire my self too much for this.
Local veggies are not expensive, so I'd rather buy them,
while the imported veggies are not all possible to be cultivated here despite the rather cold climate in this area.
Tagaytay is still not as cold as Baguio afterall.

Cherry tomatoes must be planted for sure, cos little Kobold love snacking them and it's damn expensive here.
I'll try some broccoli, arugula and lettuce too.

Die Prüfungswoche meiner Tochter ist endlich vorbei, und jetzt kann ich wieder mit dem Bloggen und meinem alten Hobby beginnen.

In meinem vorherigen Artikel habe ich bereits erwähnt,
dass die Hausverwaltung den Eigentümern der Wohnanlage eine kleine Parzelle zur Verfügung stellt, um ein bisschen zu gärtnern.

Vor einiger Zeit hat mich der Hausverwalter endlich informiert, dass ich mit dem Pflanzen beginnen kann,
da die vorherigen Pflanzen geerntet wurden.
Ich habe einige Richtlinien erhalten, zum Beispiel welche Pflanzenarten erlaubt sind usw.

Übrigens gab es eine seiner Erinnerungen, die mich ziemlich amüsiert hat.
Er sagte, ich müsse mich selbst um die Hochbeete kümmern und saubermachen usw.
Ich dachte mir so: Hallo, ist das nicht der Sinn des Gärtnerns als Hobby – für das eigene „Essen“ zu arbeiten?
Es heißt doch Hobby, weil man die Arbeit als eine Art Entspannungsmethode genießt?

Wenn ich nicht selbst den Aufwand betreiben würde, warum sollte ich es überhaupt tun?
Wäre es nicht besser, das Gemüse einfach auf dem Markt zu kaufen, LOL?
Welchen Sinn hat es, auf so einem kleinen Stück Land zu gärtnern, wenn ich andere die Arbeit machen lasse?
Wäre es nicht klüger, gleich ein größeres Stück Land zu kaufen, das für die Landwirtschaft gedacht ist,
und als Besitzer einer großen Plantage anzufangen? :-D
Wahrscheinlich sind die Leute hier einfach daran gewöhnt, dass die Eigentümer – na ja, diese Art von Leuten mit Geld – sich nie die Hände schmutzig machen, LOL.

Wie auch immer...
Hier zeige ich euch ein paar der Gemüsesorten, die ich bereits auf der Parzelle angebaut habe.

Mir wurde gesagt, dass ich tatsächlich die Einzige bin, die diesen Vorteil in Anspruch nimmt,
also kann ich im Grunde wählen, welche Parzellen ich möchte und wie viele.

Klingt großartig 😁, aber nein, ich werde mich dafür nicht zu sehr verausgaben.
Lokales Gemüse ist nicht teuer, deshalb kaufe ich es lieber, während importiertes Gemüse hier trotz des eher kühlen Klimas nicht alle angebaut werden kann.
Tagaytay ist schließlich nicht so kalt wie Baguio.

Kirschtomaten müssen auf jeden Fall gepflanzt werden, denn der kleine Kobold liebt es, sie zu naschen, und sie sind hier verdammt teuer.
Ich werde auch Brokkoli, Rucola und Salat ausprobieren.

I haven't seen any chinese store in this city, so I can only plant it my self. ###### Deutsch Hier sind ein paar Bilder von chinesischem Brokkoli. I think they're leftover from the last season but grew again without nurture. The soil here is very fertile because of the volcano's influence, so it's very good for farming. Moreover sweet potatoes are just like weed here. I wonder if any of Eurepean here know that the leaves are also edible?! Indonesians love to blanch them and enjoy it with peanut sauce (dish name= pecel). ###### Deutsch Das hier sind Süßkartoffeln, aber nicht von mir gepflanzt. Ich denke, sie sind Überreste aus der letzten Saison, die ohne Pflege wieder gewachsen sind. Der Boden hier ist aufgrund des Vulkan-Einflusses sehr fruchtbar, was ihn ideal für die Landwirtschaft macht. Außerdem sind Süßkartoffeln hier fast wie Unkraut. Ich frage mich, ob irgendjemand hier aus Europa weiß, dass auch die Blätter essbar sind?!
