The Blurt blockchain and blogging platform has had a good year in 2024, but the token price remains low. Here are 3 big reasons to own, hold, buy, and/or power up BLURT as we head into the new year!

1) Blurt has a solid and growing community.

Many tokens are just... tokens. They're little more than NFTs - transferrable non-fungible digital assets. They have no uses other than as a collectible or investment vehicle, and most tend to go to zero within days, weeks, or months. Blurt has been running for over 4 years now! (For comparison, sister chain Hive has been around 4.5 years.) We aren't a flash in the pan, and we have a growing number of dedicated bloggers and other content-creators. That supports a token's price from ever going to zero in a "rug pull" situation. The BLURT price has gone low during the bear market, but it has found support, and with a solid community behind it, the prognosis is good. 2) Blurt is attracting developers, exchanges, and other infrastructure.

Projects, people, and groups are eyeing the Blurt platform, and for good reason. Developers like @agorise are becoming involved here, which will have benefits such as increasing traffic (Peerhub integration), encouraging involvement, and improving the experience for current users. 3) Alt season is just beginning

CNN just announced that cryptos are in a bubble and not a safe investment... for the hundredth time since they first mentioned it in 2013. They're wrong again, encouraging the public to eschew 80% of the bull market. The excitement seen today is only just beginning, as I demonstrated in a post last week. At $98k, BTC is likely to double from here, while the altcoins and memecoins are likely to go x5, x10, or even x100 and up. BTC started taking off in October 2020, reaching peaks in April and November 2021. STEEM started taking off in November 2020, reaching a peak in April 2021.++ HIVE started taking off in November 2020, reaching a peak in November 2021. BLURT became a currency in November 2020, reaching a peak in November 2021 through February 2022. The rest of the altcoin market started taking off in November 2020, reaching a peak in November 2021. ++ STEEM would have had its peak in November 2021, but was a declining platform and currency at that point, because Hive and Blurt were becoming competition. So its April peak ended up being the top of that cycle. In other words, the price of all cryptos related to BLURT - as well as Bitcoin and the entire altcoin market - launched in Oct/Nov 2021 and did not peak until the following November. Adding one 4-year crypto cycle, we predict BTC will take off in October 2024, with the altcoins going higher in November, and the market will peak in November 2025. And indeed, BTC began to shoot up last month, with the altcoins and memecoins getting active now in November. It's almost identical, meaning we have a long way up left to go. (You can do the same for previous cycles and get exactly the same result.) $160,000 is extremely conservative for BTC by late 2025. The altcoins and memecoins are generally close behind, meaning we are just at the very beginning. BLURT is 0.0034 USD today, and likely going to increase by x15 to x20 in the coming 12 months. It was 4 cents routinely during the last bull market, meaning this time it will probably be quite a bit higher. So, if you're sitting on 1,000,000 BLURT right now, it could be worth $50k, $100k, or more... next year.
