Hello, food lovers! How are you doing? I hope you are well. This will be my first food post. I know there are great people on HIVE and that makes me very happy. Since this will be my first post, I think I will definitely have mistakes, so please tell me when you see any. I have a post planned for later on about my eating disorder, and before I jump into that, I want to prove to myself that eating can be amazing with the posts I want to do on @foodiesbeehive. And for my first post, I would like to tell you about a salad that my mother often made for me since I was little. But that doesn't mean I don't have a plan B. Plan B: MY BROTHER. I'm not sure if it's something specific to the Turkish families, but I can share the food I can't eat with my brother at any time. This is a great thing really 😂 The next step is to soak the dried beans. Of course, you can do this step by soaking the beans in a bowl of water from the previous day, or if you are forgetful like me, you can add boiling water a few hours before. I add boiling water twice to be a little more sure. ***My next step*** is to boil the dried beans. This process can take a while. About 40-45 minutes. But giving up is not an option! Ama bu bir B planımın olmadığı anlamına gelmiyor tabii ki. B planı: KARDEŞİM. Türk aile yapısına özgü bir şey mi bu emin değilim fakat yiyemediğim yemeği her an kardeşimle paylaşabilirim. Bu harika bir şey gerçekten. 😂 Bir sonraki adım ise kuru fasulyeyi ıslatmak. Tabi bu adımı bir önceki günden bir kabın içinde kuru fasulyeyi suda bekleterek yapabilirsiniz ya da benim gibi unutkan biriyseniz birkaç saat öncesinde üzerine kaynar su ekleyebilirsiniz. Ben biraz daha emin olabilmek için kaynar su ekleme işlemini 2 kere yapıyorum. ***Sonraki adımım*** ise kuru fasulyeyi haşlamak. Bu işlem biraz uzun sürebiliyor. Yaklaşık 40-45 dakika. Ama yılmak yok!
