This time we want to share a complete guide to help illustrators become successful #hivers. This guide will be targeted towards brand new users who know nothing about the Hive Blockchain but it will also have useful tips for already onboarded users. Hive is a Social Blockchain that uses the advantages of the Web 3.0 and is built to fight censorship. On Hive you can earn cryptocurrency by posting, commenting, and voting content. Every like has value and it represents a great option for any content creator to monetize their articles, photos, videos, vlogs, illustrations, and any type of original material. Hive has a rewarding system where likes can turn into real money. It sounds crazy, but it's true! The first obvious step is to create your own immutable Hive Account. **Good news!** It is free and now we have a great option to achieve this step using @hiveonboard. - Step #1 go to: [hiveonboard.com](https://peakd.com/register?ref=eddiespino) - Choose your username and *read* and agree to the *terms of service*. - Back up your account information. Keeping your keys safe is very important. - Verify your account through the SMS code. This code can take up to five minutes to be sent to your phone, so be patient. - And there you go! Your account is ready! *Note: Hive is a decentralized Fork of Steem created by the community. If you already have a Steem account that was created before March 20, 2020, you also have a ready to use Hive account, you can log in with the same information (username and passwords/keys). You should even have the same balance.*

Hive is the name of the Blockchain, but it is also the name of the coin or token. Just like [Bitcoin - BTC](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin), [Ethereum - ETH ](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum), [Litecoin - LTC](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/litecoin) or [Ripple - XRP](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/xrp), Hive is also cryptocurrency that can be traded on many exchanges. [HIVE](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hive) is the main coin and it can be transferred to any user in a matter of seconds and without fees just like [STEEM](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/steem). HIVE tokens can be converted into HivePower. This is known as a PowerUp. When a user has a lot of HivePower they can vote and add value to the post and comments of other people. Think of HivePower as your influence inside the platform, like bonds on a company that let you own part of the stake of the whole platform. The bigger HivePower, the bigger the vote. Hive Power can be converted back to Hive with an action called PowerDown. This action takes 13 weeks to be completed and each week the users will receive a 1/13 payment. Having a lot of HivePower can also help you gain curation rewards for voting content. It’s a great way to earn passive income. *Note:* Votes are not unlimited. Every time you give a vote to someone it loses some power. *For example*: If you have a vote value of $1.00 (you would need a considerable amount of HivePower for that) and it's fully recharged every time you vote your VotingPower "mana bar" will decrease by 2%. If you gave 10 consecutive votes, your vote value would now be $0.80. It takes about two hours to recover 2% of your voting power. If you want to keep your VP in good percentages it is recommended to give no more than ten 100% or full votes. Votes can also be regulated. You can give a 50% vote, 20%, 35% or whichever percentage you choose. There are also **negative votes** or **downvotes**. These are applicable in posts that are committing plagiarism, have broken some kind of community rule, or when someone thinks the posts may be overvalued (in votes). HBD or Hive Dollar is the third part of the Hive trio and its value should always be 1.00 USD. These coins are earned through posting and commenting. When a post is made and it receives votes, 50% goes to curators (HivePower holders), the other 50% goes to the author of the post. Half is earned in HivePower and the other half in HBD. Let's take an example, if someone made a post and through votes of various users it reached $10.00 the author would receive 2.50 HBD and about 7.5 HivePower with current prices. This may vary a lot depending on the prices of the coins. The next step can also be a little complicated for new users. On Hive we have more than one frontend, we have [hive.blog](https://hive.blog/) and we also have[ PeakD.com](https://peakd.com/). I recommend @peakd over other options. First, you have to understand how your Hive keys work and the difference between them. Yes, in Hive we have more than one password and there is no simple way to recover it so please back up your keys safely. Keys have different levels of security, the posting keys only have permission to post, comment, and vote, while the active key lets you do all that and also do transfers and sign more complex transactions. The owner and master keys let you do more things like changing your password. Go to https://peakd.com/@YOURUSERNAM/permissions to learn more about this and manage your keys. You can find this section while visiting your profile on PeakD.com going to Actions and clicking on *Keys & Permissions*. To log into frontends like PeakD.com we have different options. The one that I recommend is *Hive Keychain*. For me it is the most simple and most useful. I understand that for some users it can be a little bit difficult at first but I'll give some quick tips: - First download Hive Keychain for [Chrome/Brave](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hive-keychain/jcacnejopjdphbnjgfaaobbfafkihpep) or for [Firefox](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hive-keychain/) browsers. - Open the extension and add a password to unlock the Keychain, this password is generated by you. - Add your account username and save your private keys, active, posting, and memo keys. You should have these keys on the .txt file that you backed up from the Hive Onboarding site. - Now you are ready to sign in! Just go to [PeakD.com](https://peakd.com/) or [Hive.Blog](https://hive.blog/) and select log in with Hive Keychain, write your username (without the @) and you will be in! If you use a different browser you can also use PeakLock and another option [HiveSigner](https://hivesigner.com/). These options also work on mobile devices. Using Hive is free, there is no need to invest in the beginning. When I first started I did not buy any coins until a few months in. But having said that, Hive spends *Resource Credits* with every operation. Think of them as magic points on a video game. Every time you act (comment, post, vote, transfers, or any transaction in the Blockchain) these points will be spent but they will be eventually recovered. The amount of Resource Credits or RCs that an account has is determined by their Hive Power. The more Hive Power or HP you have, the more available action you will have on the blockchain. This is to prevent spam and to demotivate abusers. The problem comes when a new content creator starts commenting, voting, and posting articles. If they are very active they will run out of RCs very fast and will not be able to continue interacting with the chain. At 0 HP you only have few "magic points'' to use and to recover them could take a few days. That's when community leaders, users, and dApps come in. Any user with enough Hive Power can delegate to another user, this is like lending some power but the coins are still owned by the delegator. The delegatee will instantly increase the available RCs on the account and will be able to make a lot of transactions on the Blockchain that, of course, depend on the delegated HP. If you are reading this, you are new to Hive or have too little HP and if you have had problems with RCs and want to start posting quality content I can help you with a small Hive Power delegation so you can have enough Resource Credits. I can only do this with a limited number of people, but I may be able to ask more users for help. This delegation will be active for three to four weeks until the user has earned its own HP. If I see that the delegation is not used, I will remove it to help someone else. I believe that developers are working on a way to delegate just the Resource Credits and, in that case, HP delegation will not be necessary. Dapps like Hive Onboarding can use this tool to delegate RCs to new users when the accounts are created. It will be a huge improvement to the chain. Now that you have your account and enough RCs to continue, my recommendation is that you create an intro post. There are several ways. You can make a video on YouTube and insert it into the post. You can also take a selfie holding a piece of paper with the date, your username, and the word HIVE. Of course, you can choose to remain anonymous and don't show your face or true name, it's up to you. You can talk about your illustrations, your work, and the type of content that you are going to share. Your identity can also be verified with your social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Behance, or if you have a personal website you can add as well a link to your Hive profile there. What @grisvisa and I have done is to make an account on [Link.Tree](https://linktr.ee/). You can sign up for free with your Instagram account. Once you have it, you add all the relevant links there. Then on the website section of every social media, we add the link.tree URL. For the intro post remember to use the correct tags, it is very important to do so. #introduceyourself is one of the main ones but not the only one. Tags are also known as topics and allow users to categorize their posts and reach bigger audiences. Every time you add a tag ask yourself if it is related to your post. The tags that Gris commonly uses for her illustration posts are #drawing, #illustration, #art, #arte, and some more. On my post I use #hive if I'm talking about the blockchain, #blog, #spanish if the post is in that language, #cervantes if I'm sharing my post in that community and other tags depending on the topic of my post. I invite you to check out the trending page and look for some of the most used tags. https://peakd.com/trending *Tag abuse* is not recommended and can be a reason to earn a downvote. So be careful, make your due diligence about tags before posting. A common mistake that I see is that new users add tags that don’t have an audience or that don’t exist here on Hive. You can use up to 10 tags but it is recommended to use only 5 unless your posts cover many topics. One very important thing for this guide is talking about Communities. On Hive we have all kinds of decentralized immutable communities, almost one for every topic, and anyone can create their community. For illustrators we some options here is a short list: - The first option and the one that @grisvisa and I use the most is [OnChainArt Community](https://peakd.com/c/hive-156509/trending). This community is focused on visual art. - The second one is [Sketchbook Community](https://peakd.com/c/hive-174301/trending). This also a great option to share your illustrations posts. - The third one is not specifically for illustration but it is a great place to make posts and a very active community. It is called [OCD Community](https://peakd.com/c/hive-174578/created) and it is focused on original content. - If your content is only in Spanish or if you are sharing other types of work I recommend you post in the fourth option. [GEMS Community](https://peakd.com/c/hive-148441/created). This one is focused on the retention of new users, it's a great place to start if you are new. You could post your intro post here if you are not sharing an illustration. - The fifth and last one is for people looking to share videos of their illustrations. [Threespeak Community](https://peakd.com/c/hive-181335/created) is a video platform created to fight the censorship that exists in other platforms such as YouTube. Subscribe to these communities, engage with the users. Look at the post so you can have ideas on how to make and improve your posts. Also don't expect to have a lot of votes in the first posts. It can happen but keep your expectations low. Gaining Hive can take some time, people have to get to know you, but I can tell you something. If your work is good it will be easy to stand out and attract votes from big curators. It's not guaranteed, but this can happen, just keep posting your original content. *Note:* Carefully read the rules of every community before engaging and posting. Most of these communities only accept posts in English, but if your post is in another language you can add it in the same post only. It is not acceptable to make the same post twice, even if they are in different languages, but you can always make a multilingual post. --- ##### Giving a proper format to your blog posts ![12format.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/eddiespino/Nou3OV69-12format.JPG)

Posts on Hive can be written in HTML, Markdown, or a combination of both. I made a post recently about this subject and I also gave some tips for PeakD. If you are already familiar with HTML this will be a piece of cake. Markdown is similar but just uses different types of symbols or "codes". You can add images, videos, justify text and center images and text too. [Here is a basic MarkDown guide](https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet). --- ### General Recommendations for Illustration Posts

We are almost done with this guide! One very important thing on Hive is to make your posts appealing to curators. The first thing they will see is the cover image, which is usually formatted like the one that I have on this post (the first image) and they will also read the title and description. A good cover image can make the difference between being voted or not. Their attention has to be caught so that they click on the post, read it and in the best-case scenario, they vote it, comment it, and share it. One thing that works great on Art and Illustration posts is to add a process of your work on every post. Also, add a short or long description of the drawing and if you have YouTube videos of the process you can insert them too. Another really good option is to make a GIF and upload it like you were uploading an image. The only downside is that GIFs cannot be much bigger than 5MB, so keep that in mind. A great page to make GIFs out of images or videos is this one: https://ezgif.com/. On this page, there are several options to optimize GIFs, crop them, resize them, and more. Another good practice is to always share your "normal" Social Media accounts so they can verify you are the owner of the illustrations and as I said before you can also share your Hive page on your Social Media pages. From there you can let your imagination flow. As I have been recommending, visit other people's profiles and posts, check out what they are doing, copy the good things, and if you have doubts you can always ask for help. We will all be here to support you. *Pro Tip*: Your cover image can be animated using a gif as the first image. That will get the attention of curators more effectively. It can also be any size, just be sure that the image is not cropped, because not all interfaces or frontends show them the same way. Hive is fun but the ultimate goal of all this is to be able to earn some extra money. If you are brand new to crypto you may find all this very confusing. It's not that hard once you learn the basics. Posts are paid after seven days of being published and I said before, if your posts get votes, you will earn some HivePower and also HBD. Remember to claim your rewards from your Hive Wallet: https://hive.io/wallets In general what you have to do is sell your Hive or HBD for Bitcoin on an exchange such as [Binance](https://www.binance.com/), [Bittrex](https://global.bittrex.com/), [Probit](https://www.probit.com/), [Ionomy](https://ionomy.com/), [Blocktrades](https://blocktrades.us/), [Huobi Global](https://www.huobi.com/) or any of the other exchanges that have these coins listed. Once you have traded them you will need to find an exchange in your country where you can sell Bitcoin for your local currency. If you are in the US, many of these exchanges already do that. In Mexico, we have [Bitso](https://bitso.com/) and in South America, some countries can use one called [Buda](https://www.buda.com/). A quick and simple Google search with "how to buy Bitcoin in X Country" can help you find such an exchange. In Venezuela, there are several exchanges within Hive. Hive has a very steep learning curve, it's hard to have all the information needed in a couple of days. It will take at least a few weeks to learn the basics and from there new things will be learned every day. Don't let that stop you, make posts, comment. It doesn't matter if you make mistakes, just be sure not to fall into plagiarism or another type of unacceptable behavior, because that could damage your account. >Hive is FUN, it's like an MMORPG game that allows you to win real money. Take it step by step. Any type of person can be successful in Hive, I've seen it. Most of the people that fail are the ones that give up too fast. Patience is key, don't get frustrated if you don't earn a lot in your first few posts, it takes a lot of TIME to be noticed in the Blockchain, but good quality posts will always stand out. This guide focuses on helping illustrators with their first steps on Hive, but the basics are almost the same for any other topic or niche. The only thing that changes is the communities and the post formats. So I hope you enjoyed reading this guide. Hive es el nombre de la Blockchain o Cadena de Bloques, pero también es el nombre de la moneda. Así como [Bitcoin - BTC](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin), [Ethereum - ETH ](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum), [Litecoin - LTC](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/litecoin) o [Ripple - XRP](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/xrp), Hive también es una criptomoneda y puede ser intercambiada por otras monedas en casas varias casas de cambio. [HIVE](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hive) es la moneda principal de la plataforma y puede ser transferida en cuestión de segundos a otro usuario sin ningún tipo de comisión, funciona igual que [STEEM](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/steem). Los tokens de HIVE pueden ser convertidos en HivePower. A esto se le conoce como PowerUp. La tercera parte del trío Hive es la moneda HBD o Dólar de Hive. Su valor siempre debe ser de $1.00 (dólar americano). Estas monedas se pueden ganar por publicar y comentar. Cuando se crea un post y recibe votos, el 50% va a los curadores, es decir, los que votaron con su HP, el otro 50% es para el autor de la publicación. La mitad se gana en HivePower y la otra mitad en HBD. Aquí un ejemplo, si un usuario hace una publicación y en total genera o junta $10.00 el autor recibirá 2.50 HBD y aproximadamente 7.5 HivePower, esto depende mucho de los precios de las monedas. En estos links pueden ver los precios actuales, saldrán en dólare pero hay una opción para cambiar la moneda. Una de las primeras cosas que debemos aprender es cómo funcionan las llaves o contraseñas en Hive y las diferencias entre ellas. Sí, hay más de un tipo de llave y no hay manera simple de recuperarlas si se pierden, así que hay que cuidarlas y respaldarlas. Las llaves tienen diferentes niveles de seguridad. La llave de publicación privada, por ejemplo, da permisos sólo para publicar, comentar y votar, mientras que la llave activa permite hacer todo lo anterior más otro tipo de transacciones más complejas. La llave maestra y la de propietario nos permiten cambiar todas las claves de la cuenta. Puedes encontrar estas opciones dentro de PeakD.com en "Actions" y luego eliges *Keys & Permissions*. Para iniciar sesión en interfaces como PeakD. y en otras tenemos varias opciones. La más recomendada es una llamada *Hive Keychain*. Para mí es la más útil y sencilla de usar. Al principio puede ser un poco difícil configurarla, pero aquí les comparto algunos tips: - Primero descargamos Hive Keychain para el navegador de [Chrome/Brave](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hive-keychain/jcacnejopjdphbnjgfaaobbfafkihpep) o para [Firefox](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hive-keychain/). - Una vez instalada la extensión la abrimos y agregamos una contraseña que va a servir para desbloquear la billetera. Esta contraseña tú la generas. - Ahora ponemos nuestro nombre de usuario y agregamos nuestras llaves privadas: posteo, activa y memo. Estas llaves las encontrarás en el archivo de texto que se descargó del sitio web de Hive Onboarding al crear la cuenta. - ¡Ahora están listos para iniciar sesión! Vayan a [PeakD.com](https://peakd.com/) o [Hive.Blog](https://hive.blog/) seleccionen log in con Hive Keychain, escriban su nombre de usuario (sin @) y estarán dentro. Usar Hive es gratis, no hay necesidad de invertir dinero al principio. En mi caso personal no compré monedas hasta después de estar unos meses en la plataforma. Habiendo dicho esto hay un detalle, cada transacción que hacemos en la Blockchain requiere Recursos, conocidos como RCs (Resource Credits) o Créditos de Recursos. Imagina que son puntos de energía o de magia en un juego RPG. Cada comentario, voto, publicación, transferencia, etc va ir consumiendo esa energía. Estos puntos se recuperan con el tiempo y son determinados por el HivePower en la cuenta. Entre mayor sea, más RCs tendrás. Esto así se ha disñeado para evitar el spam y para desmotivar a los que quieren abusar en la plataforma. El problema surge cuando un creador de contenido nuevo empieza muy emocionado a votar, comentar y hacer publicaciones. Si tiene 0 HP muy pronto se quedará sin recursos y llegará un momento donde no podrá hacer nada en Hive. Esto puede desmotivar a muchos. Como dije se recargan con el tiempo pero si se tiene muy poco HP o nada tardará varios días en que se recuperen. Ahí es donde entran a ayudar la comunidad, las dApps (aplicaciones descentralizadas) y los usuarios más experimentados. Cualquier usuario que tenga suficiente HP disponible puede delegar a otros usuarios. Esto es como prestar las monedas para que las ocupe otro, pero siguen siendo de quien las delegó. De esta forma se puede ayudar a que los usuarios nuevos o con poco HP tengan más Créditos de Recursos en sus cuentas y les sea posible interactuar con la cadena. Si estás leyendo esto, eres nuevo o tienes muy poco HP, has tenido problema con los RCs te puedo delegar un poco de HP para que puedas operar en la cadena. Sólo puedo hacer esto con un número limitado de personas, pero posiblemente puedo encontrar más apoyo de la comunidad. La delegación estará activo por lo menos unas semanas y se retirará una vez que el usuario tenga suficiente HP propio, así se podrán apoyar a otros usuarios. Al parecer los desarrolladores de Hive están trabajando en códigos que permitan delegar solamente los RCs sin tener que delegar HP. Esto quiere decir que aplicaciones como Hive Onboarding podrán brindar Recursos a los usuarios nuevos que hagan cuentas en su plataforma. Esto sería una gran mejora para Hive. Ahora que ya tienes tu cuenta y con suficientes Créditos de Recursos mi recomendación es crear una publicación de introducción, hay varias maneras de hacerlo. Podrías hacer un video en YouTube donde platicas un poco de ti e insertarlo en la publicación o tomarte una selfie mostrando un pedazo de papel que tenga escrito tu nombre de usuario, la palabra HIVE y la fecha. También podrías compartir algunas de tus ilustraciones. Claro que puedes permanecer anónimo, sin revelar tu rostro o nombre verdadero. También puedes compartir tus otras redes sociales para que puedan verificar de cierta manera tu identidad y trabajos. Puede ser Instagram, Facebook, Behance o si tienes puedes agregar un sitio web personal o portafolio. Lo que hemos hecho @grisvisa y yo es crear una cuenta de [Link.Tree](https://linktr.ee/), puedes hacerlo de forma gratuita a través de tu cuenta de Instagram. Para la publicación de introducción recuerda usar las etiquetas correctas. #introduceyourself es una de ellas, pero no es la única. Es importante usar las etiquetas correctas para tus publicaciones. Las etiquetas también se conocen como temas y permiten a los usuarios elegir la categoría de sus publicaciones y así llegar a audiencias más grandes. Cada vez que eliges una etiqueta debes asegurarte que tenga que ver con tu publicación. Las etiquetas que Gris normalmente usa para las publicaciones de sus ilustraciones son: #drawing, #illustration, #art y #arte. En mis publicacione por lo general uso #hive si es que estoy hablando de la plataforma, #blog, #spanish si mi publicación es en español, #cervantes si estoy compartiendo mi post en esa comunidad y otras etiquetas dependiendo del tema del que estoy escribiendo. Los invito a que revisen la página con publicaciones mejor valoradas y ven cuales son las etiquetas que más usan: https://peakd.com/trending *Abuso de Etiquetas* no lo recomiendo y puede ser una razón para recibir voto negativo. Así que ten cuidado, haz una investigación exhaustiva de las mejores etiquetas antes de que empieces a publicar. Un error común que llegan a cometer los nuevos usuarios es usar etiquetas con muy poca audiencia o que no existen en Hive. Puedes usar hasta 10 etiquetas pero es recomendable usar sólo 5, a menos de que tu publicación hable de muchos temas. Una parte muy importante para esta guía es hablar sobre Comunidades. En Hive tenemos todo tipo de comunidades descentralizadas, hay una para casi cualquier tema y también puedes crear tu propia comunidad. Para ilustración tenemos algunas opciones, aquí hay una lista: - La primera opción y la que @grisvisa usa más es: [Comunidad OnChainArt](https://peakd.com/c/hive-156509/trending). Esta comunidad está enfocada en el arte visual. - La segunda es la [Comunidad Sketchbook](https://peakd.com/c/hive-174301/trending), que también es una muy buena comunidad para compartir publicaciones de ilustración. - La tercera no es específica para ilustración pero se pueden compartir en ella publicaciones originales. Se llama [Comunidad OCD](https://peakd.com/c/hive-174578/created). - En las anteriores es recomendable y en algunos casos necesario publicar el contenido en inglés, aunque puedes agregar una traducción al español dentro del mismo post. Recomiendo la cuarta opción si tu contenido sólo está en Español Spanish o estás compartiendo otro tipo de trabajo. Esta comunidad es la [Comunidad GEMS](https://peakd.com/c/hive-148441/created), una comunidad enfocada en la retención de nuevos usuarios. Es un buen lugar para empezar el viaje en Hive. - La quinta y última es para las personas que estén buscando un lugar donde compartir sus vídeos con ilustraciones. La [Comunidad de Threespeak](https://peakd.com/c/hive-181335/created) es una plataforma de vídeo que fue creada originalmente para combatir la censura que existe en otras plataformas como YouTube. Suscríbete a estas comunidades, interactúa con los usuarios. Lee muchas publicaciones para tomar las mejores ideas de cómo hacer tus primeros posts.No esperes grandes votos en tus primeras publicaciones, es posible que los tengas, pero mantén una expectativa baja. Ganar Hive lleva tiempo, las personas te deben conocer primero. Pero puedo decirte una cosa, si tu trabajo es bueno vas a sobresalir y tendrás mayores posibilidades de obtener buenos votos. No está garantizado, puede pasar, sólo sigue publicando tu contenido original. *Nota:* Lee con cuidado las reglas de cada comunidad antes de empezar a publicar. La mayoría de las comunidades aceptan sólo material en inglés, pero siempre puedes agregar otro idioma a la publicación, siempre y cuando se incluya dentro de la misma publicación. Las publicaciones en Hive pueden ser escritas con HTML, Markdown o una combinación de las dos. Recientemente hice una publicación con algunos tips sobre PeakD. Si ya están familiarizados con HTML, será muy fácil para ustedes. Markdown es muy similar sólo usa otro tipo de símbolos. Se pueden agregar imágenes, vídeos, justificar y centrar texto e imágenes. ¡Casi terminamos con esta guía! Una cosa muy importante en Hive es hacer nuestras publicaciones llamativas. Lo primero que las personas verán es tu imagen de portada que por lo general será similar a la que tiene esta publicación, en cuanto al tamaño. También leerán el título y la descripción. Una buena imagen puede ser la diferencia en que nos voten o no, en obtener atención de los usuarios. Determina si nos darán click, si leerán la publicación y, en el mejor de los casos, si la votarán, comentarán y compartirán. Una cosa que funciona muy bien en las publicaciones de Arte e Ilustración es agregar un proceso del dibujo en cada publicación. También es bueno agregar una descripción ya sea larga o corta y si tienes un video del proceso en YouTube lo puedes poner. Algo que nos gusta hacer es agregar el proceso en un pequeño GIF que se puede subir igual que una imagen. La única desventaja es que los GIFs no pueden pesar mucho más de 5MB. Una página muy buena para convertir imágenes o vídeos en GIF es: https://ezgif.com/. En esta página puedes optimizar, recortar o cambiar de tamaño los GIFs. Otra buena práctica es agregar nuestras redes sociales "normales" a las publicaciones para que los votantes estén seguros que somos nosotros. Para esto también se recomienda que compartas tu página o perfil de Hive en tus redes sociales. A partir de esto puedes hacer volar tu imaginación. Y, como lo he recomendado, visita los perfiles y publicaciones de otros artistas en Hive para que puedas ver lo que están haciendo, ver las cosas positivas, copia las cosas buenas y si necesitas ayuda siempre la puedes solicitar. Nosotros te apoyaremos también. *Pro Tip*: Tu imagen de portada puede estar animada, se logra usando un GIF en la primera imagen. Esto atraerá muchísimo la atención de los posibles votantes. La imagen también puede ser de cualquier tamaño, sólo asegúrate de que no se corte porque no todas las interfaces la muestran igual. Hive es muy divertido pero la meta final es ganar dinero extra. Si eres totalmente nuevo en el mundo cripto puede ser que esto resulte un poco confuso. Una vez que aprendes lo básico no es tan difícil. Las publicaciones se cobran a los siete días de ser publicadas. Como lo mencioné anteriormente, si tu post tiene votos de valor, podrás ganar HivePower y también HBD. Hive tiene una curva de aprendizaje muy escarpada, es muy difícil aprender toda la información en unos pocos días. Tomará al menos unas pocas semanas aprender todo lo básico y poco a poco ir aprendiendo cosas nuevas. No dejes que esto te detenga, sigue haciendo publicaciones, comentarios, no importa si haces errores, mientras no cometas algún tipo de plagio o tengas un tipo de comportamiento inadecuado, todo estará bien. >Hive es DIVERTIDO, es como un juego masivo en línea donde puedes ganar dinero real. Tómalo paso a paso. Cualquier tipo de persona puede ser exitosa en Hive, lo he visto. La mayoría de las personas que fracasan es porque se dan por vencidas muy rápidamente. La paciencia es la clave, no te frustres si no ganas mucho en las primeras publicaciones, toma mucho TIEMPO ser reconocido en la cadena de bloques, pero las publicaciones de calidad siempre van a sobresalir. Esta guía está orientada para ayudar a ilustradores con sus primeros pasos en Hive, pero las cosas básicas son las mismas para otro tipo de temas o nichos.
