Entonces en que se diferencian la empatia de la compasión. Cómo reconocemos la compasión? la reconocemos cuando una persona es capaz de reconocer en otra sus emociones de sentirlas. Cuando sucede esto la persona siente el padecimiento, el sufrimiento de la otra persona. Con la intención de poder reducir el sufrimiento y se siente la necesidad de ayudar a la persona que esta pasando por ese mal momento. Con la compasión ayudamos a salir del pesar, de la angustia, del desanimo, etc. En cambio la empatia es cuando nos ponemos en el zapato del otro para ver que se puede sentir y de una manera objetiva comprendemos las emociones y sentimientos de esa persona. Por lo tanto la compasión es la palabra clave para entender y llevar a cabo la empatia. Por lo tanto estos dos conceptos están relacionados.

Cuando somos compasivos somos bondadosos, y la compasión debería comenzar por uno mismo y debemos eliminar los egos y la competencia. Debemos practicar la generosidad. Saber escuchar y no censurar. Asimismo aprender a mantener el dialogo de una manera sensata, responsable y prudente. Podemos tener empatia ante ciertas situaciones y cuando reconocemos que la persona padece, sufre y nos involucramos y reconocemos que la persona esta pasando por alguna situación y queremos tratar de mitigar ese sufrimiento a ese acto se llama compasión con la finalidad de que esa persona este bien y aprenda a vivir en paz. A través de la compasión aliviamos sufrimientos.

Me encanta tener empatia con la gente y comprender la situación por la cual esta pasando, reconozco sus emociones y trato de una manera generosa ayudarlo a aliviar el sufrimiento. Muestro respeto y generosidad para escuchar a la gente que tiene algún padecimiento y me pongo en su propio zapato para ver la perspectiva de esa persona en vez de la mía. Cuando trato de ayudar a mitigar ese sufrimiento de una manera empatica allí estoy poniendo en práctica la compasión con una actitud de igualdad hacia la otra persona y no creyéndome que tengo aires de superioridad, de grandeza que lo que hace es reflejar y sentir lastima ante esa persona que esta padeciendo. Por lo tanto utilizo muchas herramientas que me conducen de una manera sana a tener compasión y empatia con las personas que tienen algún padecimiento.

I show respect and generosity to listen to people who are suffering and put myself in their shoes to see that person's perspective instead of my own.
