Queridos y respetados Steemianos y Steemianas, un abrazo fuerte y el mayor de los éxitos a todos. En este articulo que decidí compartirles, quiero básicamente aprender, practicar y así mejorar con ustedes el valioso y apreciado arte del buen convivir, demostrando como influye positiva o negativamente nuestro nivel de Ego y Humildad en el compartir diario.

Decisiones y emociones desde el Ego o la Humildad:

Para muchos es muy bien sabido que la mayor de las aventuras y experiencias que ocurren a lo largo de nuestra vida, sean buenas o malas, ocurren simplemente como consecuencia de una decisión tomada, en un momento determinado bajo un estado de ánimo específico (alegría, tristeza, decepción, enojo, entusiasmo, ira, miedo, valentía, entre otros). El hecho es que cuando analizamos las decisiones erróneas ocurridas en algún momento, puede que llegue el arrepentimiento aún cuando el orgullo nos quiera convencer y nos haga vociferar que "no me arrepiento de nada", pero muy dentro de nuestro ser reconocemos que simplemente no tuvimos el valor de ser HUMILDES o el dominio de nosotros mismos y nuestras emociones al tomar tal decisión dejándonos dominar por el bendito EGO . Es aquí donde comienza y se desenvuelve el difícil arte de saber convivir con cada Apreciado y Sabio ser con el que coincidimos o nos encontramos en el transcurso de nuestras vidas, ya sea momentáneamente (amistades, esposos(as), parejas,compañeros de trabajo, vecinos, compañeros de clases) o por un largo período (padres, hijos, hermanos, familiares) y que aunque se nos haga difícil e imposible entenderlo por ahora, sirven o sirvieron en su momento como maestros que hicieron ver muchos de nuestros grandes defectos o también muchas de nuestras enormes virtudes.

Saber comunicarnos en el diario convivir:

Les comento un poco y refresco lo del saber convivir, porque es aquí donde aparecen los dos temas en cuestión de mi Post: El Ego y la Humildad. Saber expresarnos y comunicarnos con las personas de una manera consciente, coherente, amistosa, cariñosa si es el caso, educada, amable, creativa, amena y humilde es en cierto modo un arte, y no quiero decir con esto que debamos parecer a todos una persona simpática, pero si me gustaría resaltar que saber comunicarnos con las personas de nuestro entorno, es para mi más una ganancia personal y un aprendizaje que una simple tertulia, es aquí donde estos dos conceptos: el Ego y la Humildad influyen muchísimo al momento de utilizarlos en el proceso de comunicación, influyen en lo que desees proyectar de ti, en crear empatía, en la influencia que quieras crear en el otro, y en el logro de los objetivos que te hayas planteado al entablar una conversación o intercambio de ideas con otras personas según sea el caso.

Según el Diccionario de la Real Academia Española, tenemos estos conceptos:

¿Que es el Ego?

Del lat. ego 'yo'.

1. m. Psicol. En el psicoanálisis de Freud, instancia psíquica que se reconoce como yo, parcialmente consciente, que controla la motilidad y media entre los instintos del ello, los ideales del super ego y la realidad del mundo exterior.

2. m. coloq. Exceso de autoestima.

¿Que es Humildad?

Del lat. humilĭtas, -ātis.

1. f. Virtud que consiste en el conocimiento de las propias limitaciones y debilidades y en obrar de acuerdo con este conocimiento.

2. f. Bajeza de nacimiento o de otra cualquier especie.

3. f. Sumisión, rendimiento.

Características:

Dado esto por sentado, nos toca reconocer en estas sencillas características de cada uno, si al comunicarnos con otros estamos hablando desde nuestro exceso de Ego o sencillamente desde nuestra Humildad:

Ego:

Sentimos un profundo deseo de recibir reconocimiento ajeno, elogios y destacar frente a los demás.
Tienes poco interés por los demás y llenas las conversaciones hablando de ti mismo.
Es muy común considerar que la única y la mejor forma de hacer las cosas son las nuestras.
Nos sentimos vulnerables ante las criticas negativas, llevando estas criticas al plano personal.
Queremos tener siempre la razón en las conversaciones o discusiones, creyendo ser dueños de la verdad absoluta.
Nos cuesta reconocer y darle valor a logros ajenos por creer que son inferiores de alguna manera.

Humildad:

Callamos nuestras virtudes y permitimos a los demás descubrirlas por si mismos.
Aceptamos nuestras limitaciones y siempre estamos dispuestos a aprender y escuchar a los demás de forma sincera, con atención y respeto, aún cuando el tema no sea de nuestro interés o el preferido.
Estamos consientes de nuestras fallas y equívocos y no nos molesta o acompleja admitirlo.
Compartimos con disposición sincera de ayudar a los demás los conocimientos adquiridos.
Destacamos abierta y públicamente el potencial y logro de los demás.
Reconocemos que sabemos poco y que hay muchísimo más por aprender.

Ahora bien, una de mis intensiones con este Post es simplemente recordarles que vivimos en un mundo lleno de Seres Maravillosos, maestros cada uno en su área por muy sencilla que se vea su labor pero que sabemos que nosotros no tenemos ni la habilidad ni el don de cumplirla como ellos, y que además de parecer muy sencillas, pueden ser y son hasta más importantes que las nuestras (como es el trabajo de los señores que recolectan la basura de nuestras casas, ¿se imaginan por un segundo que no lo hicieran?). Por lo que esta reflexión a ser más humildes en nuestras relaciones del día a día es simplemente una invitación a hacernos y hacerle la vida menos complicada al que convive con nosotros, a entender que a veces simplemente las personas quieren ser escuchadas sin recibir ningún tipo de juicio (desde nuestro Ego) al respecto, a no subestimar una conversación con el que cumple de la mejor manera un oficio (muy probablemente tengan mejores lecciones de vida que compartir), a dejar de pretender que "por creernos superiores" en alguna materia o tema los demás deban soportar nuestro mal humor o alguna mala respuesta(esto es simplemente falta de respeto y mala educación). Entender que el exceso de Ego es sólo sinónimo de una autoestima frágil y vulnerable más allá de esa apariencia de fortaleza, que lo único que pides en el fondo es ser querido y aprobado. Así que no nos compliquemos la vida, si mejoramos día a día que sea para nuestro orgullo y placer, no para vociferar y alardear de ello y mejor dejemos humildemente que los demás descubran nuestras virtudes y bondades.

Decisions and emotions from the Ego or Humility:

It is well known to many that the greatest of adventures and experiences that occur throughout our lives, whether good or bad, occur simply as a consequence of a decision made, at a certain time under a specific mood (joy, sadness, disappointment, anger, enthusiasm, anger, fear, courage, among others). Characteristics:

Given this, we have to recognize in these simple characteristics of each one, if in communicating with others we are speaking from our excess of Ego or simply from our Humility:

Ego:

We feel a deep desire to receive recognition from others, praise and stand out from others.
You have little interest in others and fill the conversations by talking about yourself.
It is very common to consider that the only and the best way of doing things are ours.
We feel vulnerable to negative criticism, taking these criticisms to the personal level.
We always want to be right in the conversations or discussions, believing to be masters of the absolute truth.
It is difficult for us to recognize and value others' achievements by believing that they are inferior in some way.

Humility:

We quit our virtues and allow others to discover them for themselves.
We accept our limitations and are always willing to learn and listen to others in a sincere way, with attention and respect, even when the subject is not of our interest or preferred.
We are aware of our faults and misunderstandings and do not bother or complacent admit it.
We share with sincere disposition to help others the knowledge acquired.
We openly and publicly highlight the potential and achievement of others.
We recognize that we know little and that there is much more to learn.

Now, one of my intentions with this Post is simply to remind them that we live in a world full of Wonderful Beings, owners of each one in their area because it is easy to see their work but we know that we do not have the ability nor the gift to fulfill it like they do, and that in addition to seeming very simple, they can be and are even more important than ours (as is the work of the gentlemen who collect the trash from our houses, can you imagine for a second that they do not?). So this reflection to be more humble in our daily relationships is simply an invitation to make ourselves and make life less complicated to those who live with us, to understand that sometimes people simply want to be heard without receiving any judgment about it, not underestimate a conversation with the one who best fulfills a trade (they are likely to have better life lessons to share), stop pretending that "for us to believe superior" in some area or theme others must endure our bad mood or some bad response (is simply disrespect and rudeness). Understanding that excess ego is only synonymous with fragile and vulnerable self-esteem beyond that semblance of strength, that the only thing it asks in the background is to be loved and approved. So do not complicate life, if we improve day by day by our pride and pleasure, not to shout and boast and humbly let others discover our virtues and goodness.
