Hätte man mich vor 5 Jahren gefragt wo ich mich in eben 5 Jahren sehe, hätte ich wahrscheinlich geantwortet: zu gedröhnt in einem der Berliner Scene Clubs, wild das Tanzbein schwingend in vollen Zügen das Leben genießen. Das Leben dessen Höhepunkt die Jugend und der nächste Rausch sind. Ganz nach dem Vorbild Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll. Und eben auch mit dem Bewusstsein dass das der ultimative Lebensinhalt eines sich ziemlich cool und angesagt wahrnehmenden jungen Typen wie mir ist. Eine ältere gute Freundin hat damals, ich war gerade mit einem Freund von einer solchen Party gekommen, zu uns gesagt ;sie fände es lustig und erschreckend zu gleich das so viele Menschen glauben die beste Zeit ihres Lebens in einem dunklen von Schweiß Alkohol und Nebelmaschinen Gestank gesäumten Raum zu verbringen. Ein Satz den ich bis heute nicht vergessen habe, ihn damals aber weniger Einfluss auf mein Leben nehmen lassen habe. Warum ich so anfange ? Ziele im Leben zu haben kann einem sehr viel weiter bringen als man vielleicht erwartet. Ich würde nicht sagen das ich damals keine Ziele hatte. Aber was ich mit Bestimmtheit sagen kann, es waren nicht meine eigenen. Warum der Beginn einer neuen Ära ? So oder so ähnlich lautete auch der Inhalt einer Nachricht die ich einem guten Freund schickte, während ich gerade im Zug Richtung Berlin saß. Bereit dort in meine erste eigene Wohnung zu ziehen und etwas weniger motiviert aber auch beriet meine Ausbildung zum Koch in Angriff zu nehmen. Ihr merkt also in meinem Leben gab es einige beginne von neuen Ären. Aber anstatt in besagten Clubs rum zu hängen hing ich die meiste Zeit von der Arbeit geplättet in meinem Bett rum. Zwischen meinem Bett und dem Herd des Hotels in dem ich gearbeitet habe, würde ich nicht sagen das Leben gelebt zu haben welches ich mir vorgestellt hatte. Ebenso war es sehr weit weg von dem was ich heute als Leben bezeichnen würde. Allerdings weiß ich dort wohl einige der Wichtigsten Momente meines bisherigen Lebens erlebt habe. Eigentlich dachte ich das meine Ausbildung in eben dieser Hotelküche stadtfinden würde, stellte aber ziemlich schnell fest das weder der Inhalt dessen mich großartig reizt, ich weder 3,5 Jahre brauche um mir diesen Inhalt bei zu bringen. Und da ich trotzdem meinem Geist ein wenig neuen Wind zu Gemüte führen wollte, tat ich dies eben auf eigene Faust. Und wo kann man das besser als Hier: im Internet ! If I had been asked 5 years ago, where I see myself in just 5 years, I would probably have answered: too cheeky in one of Berlin's scene clubs, wildly enjoying the dancing leg to the fullest enjoy life. The life of which the climax is the youth and the next intoxication. Following the example of Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll. And also with the awareness that this is the ultimate life content of a pretty cool and hip perceiving young guy like me. An older good friend back then, having just come with a friend from such a party, told us she thought it would be fun and frightening to have so many people believe the best time of their lives was in a dark stench of sweat and smoke machines to spend fringed space. A sentence that I have not forgotten until today, but at the time had less influence on my life. Why do I start like this? Having goals in life can take you much further than you might expect. I would not say that at the time I had no goals. But what I can say with certainty, it was not my own. Why the beginning of a new era? One way or the other was the content of a message I sent to a good friend while I was on the train to Berlin. Ready to move into my first home there and a little less motivated but also advised to take my education to cook. So you notice in my life there have been some beginning of new eras. But instead of hanging out in said clubs I spent most of my time hanging around in my bed when I was working. Between my bed and the stove of the hotel I worked in, I would not say that I had lived the life I had imagined. It was also very far away from what I would call life today. However, I know there have probably experienced some of the most important moments of my life so far. Actually, I thought that my education would find in just this hotel kitchen, but found pretty quickly that neither the content of me excites great, I need neither 3.5 years to bring me this content. And since I still wanted to bring some new wind to my mind, I did it on my own. And where can you do that better than here: on the internet ! The beginning of a journey to life.
