4 años es un camino recorrido lleno de aprendizajes convertidos en experiencias.

Ser parte de esta comunidad ha sido un aprendizaje en muchos aspectos: acerca de la alimentación vegana, los ingredientes a utilizar en las recetas o comidas que se preparen bajo este enfoque, además de lo saludable para nuestro bienestar.

Como toda celebración de cumpleaños debe tener un postre para endulzar deseando con lo dulce muchas bendiciones atrayendo todo lo dulce para esta comunidad.

Que se haga realidad todo lo que se tiene en proyecto para este nuevo año de vida en la plataforma #hive.

Para este pastel se utilizó 1 taza 1/2 de harina de trigo 1 taza de azúcar morena 1/3 de aceite vegetal 1 cucharadita de bicarbonato de sodio ½ cucharadita de sal 1 cucharada de limón 1 taza de agua (puede utilizar leche vegetal) 1 cucharadita de vainilla (opcional) >For this cake, we used: >1 1/2 cups of wheat flour >1 cup of brown sugar >1/3 cup of vegetable oil >1 teaspoon of baking soda >1/2 teaspoon of salt >1 tablespoon of lemon >1 cup of water (you can use plant-based milk) >1 teaspoon of vanilla (optional)

A unir los ingredientes, antes de esto se procede a precalentar el horno.

En un bol se mezcla los ingredientes secos: harina de trigo, azúcar, bicarbonato, sal.

>To combine the ingredients, first preheat the oven. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, baking soda, salt.

Ahora se procede a incorporar en los ingredientes secos los líquidos: aceite, vainilla, limón, por último el agua para dar la consistencia adecuada. Se mezcla todo muy bien, sin batir en exceso.

>Now, add the liquid ingredients: oil, vanilla, lemon, and finally, water to the dry ingredients to achieve the right consistency. Mix everything well, without over-beating.

Se usa un molde de aproximadamente de 16 cms. Se vierte la mezcla y se lleva al horno ya precalentado, por espacio de 30 a 35 minutos o hasta el insertar el palillo de madera y salga limpio.

>Use a baking dish approximately 16 cm in diameter. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake in a preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted comes out clean.

Se deja reposar y esperar para colocar un topping. >Let it rest and wait to add the topping.

Para el frosting se usó ½ taza de mantequilla vegana 2 tazas ½ de azúcar glass 1 a 2 cucharadas de leche vegetal, en esta preparación se usó leche de avena. 1 cucharadita de esencia de vainilla 1 cucharada de cacao en polvo 1 pizca de sal (opcional)

Batir la mantequilla a temperatura ambiente de 2 a 3 minutos. Se tamiza el azúcar glass para evitar grumos, se añade a la mantequilla, se bate a velocidad media. Incorporar los líquidos (1 cucharada a la vez) y la vainilla hasta lograr una textura suave y cremosa. Si está muy espeso se le añade un poco más de leche y si está muy suave se le coloca más azúcar glass.

>For the frosting, we used: >½ cup vegan butter >2½ cups powdered sugar >1 to 2 tablespoons plant-based milk; oat milk was used in this recipe >1 teaspoon vanilla extract >1 tablespoon cocoa powder > pinch salt (optional) Beat the butter at room temperature for 2 to 3 minutes. Sift the powdered sugar to prevent lumps, add it to the butter, and beat at medium speed. Stir in the liquids (1 tablespoon at a time) and vanilla until you achieve a smooth, creamy texture. If it's too thick, add a little more milk, and if it's too soft, add more powdered sugar.
