Hello to all the Hive Book Club community! I hope you find it excellent. The review that I will talk about this time is a book that is called The Prince of the Mist by the author Carlos Ruiz Zafón, it was published in 2007, is made up of 240 pages, which made it an easy book to read sincerely. On the other hand, it is loaded with a lot of mystery, suspense and psychological terror.

La reseña que les hablaré en esta oportunidad es de un libro que tiene por nombre El príncipe de la niebla del autor Carlos Ruiz Zafón, la misma fue publicada en el año 2007, está constituido por 240 páginas, lo cual, lo hizo un libro fácil de leer sinceramente. Por su parte, viene cargado de mucho misterio, supenso y terror psicológico.

This young adult novel is set in 1943, during World War II, so you can already have an idea of the environment in which the story unfolds. Without further ado, I invite you to read on and find out what it is about (contains spoilers).

The plot begins with a family that moves to a small coastal town, there we will meet the father of the family; Maximilian Carver who is a watchmaker, where the reason for the move is because he bought a workshop in that town and besides that, he wanted to escape from the war. On the other hand, we find the watchmaker's wife; Andrea Carver, who is a housewife. Both have three children, one of them is 13 years old; Max Carver, undoubtedly the main protagonist of the whole story, the second daughter is Alicia, the older sister and Irina the younger sister.

La trama comienza con una familia que se muda a un pequeño pueblo costero, allí nos toparemos con el padre de dicha familia; Maximilian Carver quien es un relojero, en donde, el motivo de la mudanza es debido a que compró un taller en aquel pueblo y aparte de ello, quería huír de la guerra. Por su parte, encontramos a la esposa del relojero; Andrea Carver, quien es ama de casa. Ambos tienen tres hijos, uno de 13 años; Max Carver, sin duda viene siendo el protagonista principal de toda la historia, la segunda hija es Alicia, la hermana mayor y Irina la hermana menor.

Once they all move to the town and live in the abandoned house, they would never imagine that it would be the beginning of new mysterious experiences. To get into context, everything begins once they step into their new house, where we will realize that it had belonged to a man who was a doctor, he lived with his wife and son who died when he was just a child. It is here, where we will read that aura of mysteries, where the family experiences some paranormal phenomena.

As we advance in the plot, a new protagonist appears, Roland, a boy who lives with his grandfather, and is characterized in the story for being an adventurous young man. It should be noted that, thanks to several stories that Ronald tells to the family of that town, they all start and try to put together a puzzle, which they will try to complete and see what is the reason for so many paranormal scenes, or rather what is the relationship between these stories and the house.

>A medida que avanzamos en la trama, aparece un nuevo protagonista Roland, un chico que vive con su abuelo, y se caracteriza en la historia por ser un joven aventurero. Hay que resaltar que, gracias a varias historias que le cuenta Ronald a la familia de aquel pueblo, todos comienzan e intenta armar un rompecabezas, la cual, intentaran completar y ver a qué se debe tantas escenas paranormales, o mejor dicho que relación tiene dichas historias con la casa.

Therefore, Alicia, Max and Roland decide to join forces and find the answer by going to a sunken ship and based on stories that Roland's grandfather had also told them, as we flip through the book, we will see that they manage to unravel the mystery of that beach house. I would like to mention that in addition to visualize in this novel a lot of mystery, we will see, on the other hand, the love of sweethearts (Alicia and Roland end up in love) so it is quite varied and entertaining at the same time.

>Por ello, Alicia, Max y Roland deciden unirse y encontrar la respuesta dirijiéndose a un barco hundido y basándose en historias que también les había contado el abuelo de Roland, a medida que hojeamos el libro, veremos que consiguen descrifrar el misterio de aquella casa de la playa. Me gustaría mencionar, que además de visualizar en esta novela muchísimo misterio, veremos, por otro lado, el amor de novios (Alicia y Roland terminan enamorados) así que es bastante variado y entretenido a la vez.

In addition to this, we will notice that mention is made of the Prince of the Mist, a soul that continues to torment the people, and to envelop the people he offers them his most coveted wishes in exchange for something, but that something would be very precious and important for that individual who would make that wish. Undoubtedly, this was something that I didn't like very much about the book, because the author focused a lot on other aspects instead of giving more mention to the prince, since he is, even the title of the book. But anyway, something that did make me upset was the fact that Roland's father had asked the prince for the woman of his dreams, but in exchange he had to give him his progenitor as soon as he was born, and yes, Roland dies at the end of the novel, I cried a lot because of this. Finally, I give the book a 4.5 out of 5. Thanks for making it this far!

>Sumado a ello, notaremos que se hace mención del Príncipe de la niebla, un alma que continúa atormentado por el pueblo, y para envolver a las personas les ofrece sus deseos más codiciados a cambio de algo, pero ese algo vendría siendo muy preciado e importante para ese individuo que pediría aquel deseo. Sin duda, esto fue algo que no me gustó mucho del libro, porque el autor se enfocó mucho en otros aspectos en vez darle más mención al príncipe, ya que es, hasta el título del libro. Pero en fin, algo que si me puso mal fue el hecho de que el padre de Roland le había pedido al príncipe a la mujer de sus sueños, pero a cambio de ello debía entregarle a su progenitor apenas naciera, y sí, Roland muere al final de la novela, lloré mucho por esto. Finalmente, le doy al libro un 4.5 de 5. ¡Gracias por llegar hasta aquí!
