Hello HIVE So , today I am sharing a mix I did for the **Produce Like a Pro** contest , this time mixing a heavy metal song. The band was called **Dark Times Collaboration** and it was formed also during COVID and their members worked at a distance from different parts of the world. ![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmQEFUzyFsCChobjJeqShdBujdfBUd2Tyw5XLDLvd8MJAL/image.png) The challenge here was to get it as loud and hard hitting as possible , I reamped all the guitars using a REVV G20 amp and mixed this one almost completely in the box. I did use some analog summing at the end of the chain of an SSL Superanalogue desk that I have ( more on that on another post ) to give more compression at the end of the chain.
