![imagen.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmWJngANgoZf6cEJZTvBzxwcm1puxR7ouFbTp4MaacBxuQ/imagen.png) En muchas ocasiones nos olvidamos de cosas fundamentales, a veces tenemos muchas cosas, pero no lo que realmente necesitamos, así pasa con los niños, pueden que tus hijos tengan todo a nivel material, a nivel de juegos o juguetes, pero te has preguntado, ¿si ellos relamente tienen lo que necesitan?, pues el desarrollo de este post me llevó a esta reflexión. Mis hijos, de manera humilde tienen los juguetes que ellos han querido, en ningúnmomento los he apartado de la parte tecnológica por el hecho de que esta se encuentra en nuestro día a día, de hecho, me he aprovechado de buena manera de la tecnología para estimular ciertas áreas en ellos, como el lenguaje y la motricidad, entre otras. Con el tema de la pandemia la paranoia llegó a mi, y a mis hijos no los dejaba bajar ni siquiera para el patio de la casa, ya esto ha bajado un poco, y ya los dejo ser un poco más independientes. Días atrás mi esposo bajó a limpiar un poco el patio, aprovechando que estaba su primo en la casa para que lo ayudara y mis hijos bajaron con ellos, Anna mi hija mayor, es una damita, bajo solo a hablar con su papá y a ver los pajaritos y cuantos huevos había puesto las gallinas, Mathias, es más explorador, él agarra un triciclo y lo rueda por todo el patio, las gemelas (no se por que) les encanta limpiar, y al ver a su papá con un cepillo de barrer ellas quisieron hacer lo mismo.

My children, in a humble way, have the toys that they have wanted, at no time I have removed them from the technological part because it is in our daily lives, in fact, I have taken advantage of technology to stimulate certain areas in them, such as language and motor skills, among others. With the issue of the pandemic paranoia came to me, and my children were not even allowed to go downstairs to the backyard of the house, now this has gone down a bit, and I let them be a little more independent. A few days ago my husband went downstairs to clean the yard a little bit, taking advantage of the fact that his cousin was in the house to help him and my children went downstairs with them, Anna, my oldest daughter, is a little lady, she went downstairs just to talk to her dad and to see the birds and how many eggs the chickens had laid, Mathias, is more of an explorer, he takes a tricycle and rolls it all over the yard, the twins (I don't know why) love to clean, and when they saw their dad with a sweeping brush they wanted to do the same.

Mientras ellos hacían sus cosas y compartían con su papá, yo estaba arriba haciendo los quehaceres de la casa, escuchaba los gritos, el “ven acá”, “cuidado con eso”, “dame lo otro” y esas cosas típicas que s le dicen a lo niños, pero mientras los escuchara bien y sin llorar yo estaba tranquila.

While they were doing their things and sharing with their dad, I was upstairs doing the house chores, I heard the screams, the "come here", "be careful with that", "give me the other one" and those typical things they say to children, but as long as I listened well and without crying I was calm.

En una de las tantas cosas, escuche a mi esposo decir que iba a regar las matas y a mojar la tierra, y así fue; llegó un momento en que me concentré tanto que no escuche más el “ven acá” y lo único que escuchaba de los niños era pura risa, como lo único que escuchaba era eso, supe que todo estaba bien, hasta que, decidí asomarme.

In one of the many things, I heard my husband say that he was going to water the bushes and wet the ground, and so it was; there came a time when I concentrated so much that I did not hear the "come here" and the only thing I heard from the children was pure laughter, as the only thing I heard was that, I knew that everything was fine, until I decided to look out.

Al principio casi me da algo, de hecho, le grite a mi esposo que estaba haciendo, su respuesta fue: “dejándolos que se diviertan”.

Horrorizada me quede viéndolos, imagine que el agua estaba fría, que el lodo se le podía meter por los oídos o caerle en la oca y que se lo comiera, pensé muchísimas cosas, pero me di cuenta que, con todos los juguetes que tenían no saltaban de la manera que lo hacían en el lodo, que con todos los juguetes que tenían no eran tan libres y no corrían tanto, las carcajadas de risas se escuchaban en todas partes, no estaban pendiente de hora, de si tomaban agua o no, si estaban limpios o sucios, solo disfrutaban, fue aquí donde me di cuenta que mis hijos necesitan más juegos libres, y que si, hay una condición de pandemia, pero que tienen todo un patio para ellos solitos. Ver la cara de Mathias era un poema, su alegría era inmensa, no le daba asco nada, saltaba como lo hace peppa en los charcos de lodo jajajaja, definitivamente todos gozaron su momento.

I was horrified watching them, I imagined that the water was cold, that the mud could get in their ears or fall in their goose and they would eat it, I thought a lot of things, but I realized that with all the toys they had they did not jump the way they did in the mud, that with all the toys they had they were not as free and did not run as much, the laughter of laughter could be heard everywhere, they weren't paying attention to the time, if they drank water or not, if they were clean or dirty, they were just enjoying themselves, it was here where I realized that my children need more free play, and that yes, there is a pandemic condition, but they have a whole yard for themselves. Seeing Mathias' face was a poem, his joy was immense, he was not disgusted by anything, he jumped like Peppa does in the mud puddles hahahaha, definitely everyone enjoyed their moment.

Y es que después de verlos tan felices y compartiendo juntos me di cuenta que a veces cometemos errores de enfocarnos en lo que nuestros hijo quieren y dejamos a un lado lo que realmente necesitan, son tan felices con tan poco, que a veces debemos dejarlo para que su imaginación vuele y aprendan a desarrollar esos juegos de imitación, por ejemplo cuando vean una caja, se metan y simulen que es un carro. Ver sus caras me hizo olvidar que la ropa y zapatos estaban sucios y que después debía bañarlos con mucho jabón, decidí simplemente disfrutar su momento.

And after seeing them so happy and sharing together I realized that sometimes we make mistakes of focusing on what our children want and leave aside what they really need, they are so happy with so little, that sometimes we must let their imagination fly and learn to develop those imitation games, for example when they see a box, they get in and pretend it is a car. Seeing their faces made me forget that their clothes and shoes were dirty and that I had to bathe them with lots of soap afterwards, I decided to just enjoy their moment.
