Stay tuned for more info) * _Prize pool may change based on community input: we've considered less HIVE and more packs, for example_ **Note:** the four RotP team members are not eligible for packs or $HIVE (but they could possibly win the fancy new NFTs). There will be daily prizes for both the best and worst games (based on in-game rating). To maximize chances here, you’ll want to be creating a few games per day. **But the big raffles will be based on a Leaderboard score.** Your score represents the number of raffle tickets you’ll have when the Launch Events end. For the pre-launch event, super early adopters will get yet another advantage, and last minute Beta users can sneak in too. Draw dates and exact prize distribution details to come in future posts—but the bulk of the prizes will be in the post-launch event (we’re thinking 200 HIVE and 20 packs for pre, 1000 HIVE and 100 packs for post. NFT prizes will likely be in both events). ## Earn points (both events) by: * Creating & releasing games. All past games in Beta count (pre-launch event only)! * Doing research actions. All past research in Beta counts (pre-launch event only). * Doing training actions. All past training in Beta counts (pre-launch event only). * Buying & opening 8-bit packs, including any you bought in the past (see below for details). * Re-blogging specific RotP posts on Hive (including this post!) * Early adopter bonus: every Beta reset you’ve “suffered” through gets you points! The Pixelians are just so excited to buy Earth inspired games, it seems. Also, certain Recruiters will be offering $PXL discounts for the first 72 hours after launch, which will improve your pack drops. The strategy here is pretty simple: start making games ASAP at launch, earn extra $PXL, and then decide if you want to take advantage of the Recruiter sale. # Reminder: switch game sites at launch! We’ve been using a completely separate server for the Beta test. The pre-launch Event will be on the Beta site: (`beta.riseofthepixels.com`), but the post-launch will be on the Main site: (`riseofthepixels.com`) So, once we launch on April 22, you'll need to log in to https://riseofthepixels.com (remove the `beta.` from the URL). There should be many redirects and notices on the old Beta site to help remind you too. # 📙 Rulebook update While the Event is happening, the Team will be busy making final changes and updates to the [Rulebook](https://rulebook.riseofthepixels.com/), so that you have full documentation on how to play the Live game with its rewards and tokenomics. # Full game feature reminder Here’s all the stuff that is ready to go on the 22nd: - ✅ Open packs (use recruiters to improve contents) - ✅ Team members fusion (combine NFTs for higher rarity; only way to get Mythics) - ✅ Equip accessories (improve Game rating by equipping) - ✅ Game creation (core game loop) - ✅ Real rewards (The HE token $PXL will be live at launch. No premine or founders share) - ✅ Research projects (create NFTs that impact Game ratings) - ✅ Team member training (change worker traits + an alternative way to gain XP) - ✅ V1 market conditions (bonus sales for games that meet fluctuating market conditions) While we’ve done a lot of testing in Beta, it is still possible that bugs will crop up.
