Greetings to all, fellow creatives. I recently shared with you a series of plasticine figurines I made of the Guardians of the Galaxy, characters that became very famous thanks to the Marvel movies and their UCM. Hace poco compartí con ustedes una serie de figuritas de plastilina que hice de los guardianes de la galáxia, personajes que se hicieron muy famosos gracias a las películas de Marvel y su UCM. Materials

The materials used to make this figure were as follows: *Aluminum wire. *Thread *Glue *Polystyrene *Plastilinas of colors. *Tools: pliers, wooden stick, sewing needle and knitting needle.

Los materiales utilizados para hacer esta figura fueron los siguientes: *Alambre de aluminio *Hilo *Pegamento *Poliestireno *Plastilinas de colores. *Herramientas: alicate, palillo de madera, aguja de coser y aguja de tejer.

Step by step

Once the materials are mentioned, the first thing to do is the wire skeleton that will serve as a support for the figure. For this you have to use aluminum wire, a much softer wire than those used, for example, in construction. It is a skeleton of several parts. I fastened all these parts with thread and glue, as shown in the picture below:

Una vez mencionados los materiales, lo primero que hay que hacer es el esqueleto de alambre que servirá de soporte para la figura. Para ello hay que usar el alambre de aluminio, un alambre mucho más suave que los que se usan, por ejemplo, en la construcción. Es un esqueleto de varias partes. Sujeté todas estas partes con hilo y pegamento, tal como se observa en la imagen a continuación:

The color of plasticine I used for the figure is a dark purple, almost black. With this color I began to cover the wire to then begin to mold.

El color de plastilina que usé para la figura es un morado oscuro, casi negro. Con este color comencé a cubrir el alambre para luego comenzar a moldear.

First I started with the legs, then I continued with the torso. To mold the parts I used the wooden stick and the sewing needle. In the pictures below you can see how the body of the figure looked like once I finished the molding. As you can see, the body is a little more robust because it is a chibi style body, similar to the other figures I have made; this way it will match the collection.

Primero comencé con las piernas, luego continué con el torso. Para moldear las partes me ayudé con el palillo de madera y con la aguja de coser. En las fotografías de abajo pueden observar cómo quedó el cuerpo de la figura una vez terminé el moldeado. Como pueden ver, es un cuerpo un poco más robusto porque es un cuerpo estilo chibi, similar a las otras figuras que he hecho; de esta manera hará juego con la colección.

As I said, I made the arms with a different color, in this case with the green color characteristic of the character. I made them thicker than the usual figurines I make, because of the style he has; however, I tried to mold the arms making a real musculature.

Como dije, los brazos los hice con un color distintos, en este caso con el color verde característico del personaje. Los hice más gruesos que el de las habituales figuritas que hago, por el estilo que tiene; sin embargo, traté de moldear los brazos haciendo una musculatura real.

The next thing I did was the feet. The character is used to wear boots, so I made him with boots. Below you can see how the figurine is coming along so far:

Lo siguiente que hice fueron los pies. El personaje acostrumbra a usar botas, así que lo hice con botas. A continuación pueden ver cómo va quedando la figurita hasta ahora:

At this point I have completed the base shape of the character, it's time to place the accessories. I used black color for the shoulder pads and a neck ornament. I made a brown belt with some black stuff and I also used the same black plasticine for the details of his boots.

En este punto ya he completado la forma base del personaje, es turno de colocar los accesorios. Usé color negro para las hombreras y un adorno del cuello. Hice un cinturón marrón con algunas cosillas negras y también usé la misma plastilina negra para los detalles de sus botas.

The next thing was to put on the gloves. I made them quite thick, like the hands of a cartoon character. As you may have noticed in previous pictures, there is a piece of wire extending from the right arm, which will be Gamora's sword. To make it, simply cover the wire with white plasticine and shape it into a sword by flattening the plasticine and cutting it with the help of a scissors or the same sharp tip of the sewing needle. Below you can see how the figure looks with the gloves and the sword.

Lo siguiente fue colocar los guantes. Los hice bastante gruesos, como manos de un personaje caricaturizazo. Como ya habrán observado en fotografías anteriores, hay un trozo de alambre que se extiende desde el brazo derecho, el cual será la espada de Gamora. Para hacerla simplemente se cubre el alambre con plastilina blanca y se le da la forma de espada, aplastando la plastilina y cortándola con ayuda de una tijera o con la misma punta afilada de la aguja de coser. A continuación pueden ver cómo se ve la figura con los guantes y la espada.

The last thing I did was to place a polystyrene piece for the head. In the picture below it looks like a huge piece, but it can be cut to fit better to the actual size we want to give to the head.

Lo último que hice fue colocarle una pieza de poliestireno para la cabeza. En la fotografía de abajo se ve como una pieza enorme, pero se puede cortar para ajustarla mejora al tamaño real que deseamos darle a la cabeza.

Below you can see what gamora's head looks like once molded, although without eyes and hair, this comes later:

As you can see in the picture above, the face has eye sockets, so to make the eyes simply make two white spheres and place them in the beads.

Como pueden observar en la fotografía de arriba, el rostro tiene cuencas para los ojos, así que para hacer los ojos simplemente hay que hacer dos esferas de color blanco y colocarlos en las cuentas.

The next thing was to add the details such as pupils, eyelashes and eyebrows. For the hair I used a brown plasticine and a red plasticine for the ends of the hair, as you can see in the pictures below:

Lo siguiente fue agregar los detalles como las pupilas, pestañas y cejas. Para el cabello usé una plastilina de color marrón y otra de color rojo para las puntas del cabello, tal como se observa en las fotografías de abajo:
