Czupel – król Beskidu Małego, choć niepozorny, bo liczy sobie "zaledwie" 930 m n.p.m., ma w sobie coś, co przyciąga. Nieco na uboczu, z dala od miejskiego zgiełku, oferuje widoki, które zapadają w pamięć. Tym razem to właśnie ten szczyt trafił na naszą listę do zdobycia w ramach Korony Gór Polskich. A że był to 11 listopada – idealny dzień, by uczcić go aktywnie na łonie natury. >Czupel – the king of the Little Beskids, though modest with its "mere" 930 m above sea level, has something truly captivating about it. Slightly off the beaten path, away from the city buzz, it offers views that stay in your memory. This time, we added this peak to our list of achievements in the Crown of Polish Mountains. And since it was November 11th – the perfect day to celebrate actively in the heart of nature. **Plan trasy – jak ułożyć idealny górski spacer?** >**Route Plan – How to Map Out the Perfect Mountain Walk?**

Naszą przygodę zaczęliśmy w Czernichowie, na ulicy Roztoki. Trasa prowadziła nas w górę w stronę Czupla, potem przez Schronisko PTTK na Magurce, a na koniec zeszliśmy czerwonym szlakiem w kierunku ulicy Żywieckiej. Plan był prosty: przeżyć, zobaczyć, zachwycić się. I chociaż szlak sam w sobie nie był wymagający, to z dziećmi każde wyjście w góry to mała ekspedycja. Plecaki wypchane kanapkami, przekąskami i słodyczami, a tempo – cóż, wcale nie olimpijskie. Wyruszyliśmy o 9:00 rano, a na dole zameldowaliśmy się dopiero po 17:00. Ale kto by się spieszył, gdy góry wabią swoim urokiem? >We began our adventure in Czernichów, on Roztoki Street. The route took us uphill towards Czupel, then through the PTTK Shelter on Magurka, and finally down the red trail towards Żywiecka Street. The plan was simple: experience, admire, and be amazed. >And although the trail itself wasn’t challenging, any mountain trip with kids feels like a small expedition. Backpacks stuffed with sandwiches, snacks, and sweets, and the pace – well, far from Olympic. We set out at 9:00 in the morning and only checked in at the bottom by 5:00 PM. **Pogoda idealna na wędrówkę** >**Perfect Weather for Hiking** Listopad kojarzy się z szarością i chłodem, ale tego dnia pogoda postanowiła zaszaleć i pokazać nam swoje najlepsze oblicze. Słońce świeciło jak na zamówienie, niebo było tak przejrzyste, że momentami można było liczyć chmury na horyzoncie. Nasza drużyna górska składała się z: mnie, mojego męża, naszych dwóch dzieci oraz kuzyna i jego dwóch córek. Sześcioro dzieci (w tym dwoje dorosłych, ale mentalnie czasem bliżej im do dzieci) to gwarancja śmiechu, przystanków na każdą „przerwę techniczną” i pytań „Daleko jeszcze?”. >Our hiking team consisted of me, my husband, our two children, and my cousin with his two daughters. Nie da się ukryć – Czupel może nie jest alpejskim kolosem, ale panoramy, które oferuje, są absolutnie przepiękne. W drodze na szczyt zachwycił nas widok na Górę Żar oraz Skrzyczne, a na samej górze – tablica informacyjna, pieczątka w skrzynce PTTK i… uczucie satysfakcji. A widoki? Dalekie i wyraziste – aż chciało się usiąść i chłonąć każdy szczegół. >It’s undeniable – Czupel may not be an alpine giant, but the panoramas it offers are absolutely stunning. On our way to the top, we were captivated by the view of Góra Żar and Skrzyczne, and at the summit – an informational board, a PTTK stamp box, and… a sense of satisfaction. And the views? Las w Beskidzie Małym to prawdziwa oaza ciszy – wysokie buki kołysały się na lekkim wietrze, a słońce przebijało się przez gałęzie, tworząc magiczne refleksy na ziemi. W powietrzu unosił się delikatny zapach jesiennych liści, a gdzieś w oddali słychać było świergot ptaków. Zauważyliśmy też kilka śladów zwierząt – dzieci szybko zaczęły snuć teorie o niedźwiedziach, a my uspokajaliśmy, że to raczej „miśki turystyczne”. >The forest in the Little Beskids is a true oasis of silence – tall beech trees swayed gently in the wind, and the sun filtered through the branches, casting magical reflections on the ground. Schronisko PTTK na Magurce to obowiązkowy przystanek. Zapiekanka, którą tam podają, smakuje jak ambrozja, szczególnie po kilku godzinach marszu. Był czas na regenerację, śmiech i opowieści. Kiedy wszyscy nabraliśmy sił, ruszyliśmy w dalszą drogę. >The PTTK Shelter on Magurka is a must-stop. The casserole they serve there tastes like ambrosia, especially after a few hours of hiking. It was a moment for rest, laughter, and storytelling. Pod koniec wędrówki słońce zaczęło powoli chować się za horyzontem, a na szlaku robiło się coraz ciemniej. Z dziećmi na trasie to zawsze lekka dawka adrenaliny, ale na szczęście końcówka była już spokojna. Latarki nie były potrzebne – zdążyliśmy zejść, zanim zapadły zupełne ciemności. >Towards the end of the hike, the sun began to set, and the trail grew darker. Hiking with kids always adds a bit of adrenaline, but luckily the final stretch was calm. Chociaż Czupel należy do niższych w Koronie Gór Polskich, ma swój urok, który trudno opisać słowami. Jest przyjazny, malowniczy i oferuje widoki, które na długo zostaną w pamięci. Po tej wyprawie jesteśmy jeszcze bardziej zmotywowani, by ruszyć na kolejne szczyty. Bo góry mają w sobie coś, co uzależnia – raz poczujesz ich magię, a już nie przestaniesz ich szukać. >Although Czupel is one of the lower peaks in the Crown of Polish Mountains, it has a charm that’s hard to put into words. It’s welcoming, picturesque, and offers views that linger in your memory. After this trip, we’re even more motivated to tackle the next peaks.
