Greetings, dear friends of Hive Open Mic! This week we will be developing a special theme such as "A Peaceful Song", a virtue that the world is needing more than ever.

It is no secret that humanity is currently full of many conflicts. Relations between countries are in turmoil, as there are wars between Ukraine and Russia, the same between Palestine and Israel, not to mention other places in the world where political and socio-economic differences are also making a dent in the population.

It is essential that the world's leaders work to truly achieve peace, that they are not indifferent to the pain of others, that they leave personal interests aside. We ourselves must also do our bit, help those in need and seek God's love. That is why I want to share the song "Te Pido la Paz" (I Ask you for Peace), from the album of the same name by the Panamanian Christian singer Jaime Murell, published in 1994. The song invites us to ask for peace for the world, as well as to ask God's forgiveness for the errors of humanity and to have mercy.

¡Saludos, queridos amigos de Hive Open Mic! Esta semana estaremos desarrollando una temática especial como lo es “Canción de Paz”, una virtud que el mundo está necesitando más que nunca.

No es secreto que la humanidad se encuentra llena de muchos conflictos actualmente. Las relaciones entre los países están muy convulsionadas, ya que hay guerras entre Ucrania y Rusia, del mismo modo entre Palestina e Israel, sin olvidar otros lugares del mundo donde las diferencias políticas y socioeconómicas también están haciendo mella en la población.

Es fundamental que los líderes del mundo trabajen para realmente lograr la paz, que no sean indiferentes ante el dolor de los demás, que dejen los intereses personales de lado. También nosotros mismos debemos aportar nuestro granito de arena, ayudar a quien lo necesite y buscar el amor de Dios. Es por eso que quiero compartir el tema “Te pido la Paz”, perteneciente al álbum homónimo del cantante panameño de música cristiana Jaime Murell, publicado en el año 1994. La canción nos invita a pedir la paz para el mundo, así como también a pedir perdón a Dios por los errores de la humanidad y tener misericordia.
