The Situation
For two days, a user called @bilalhaider started trolling in the steemit.chat general channel, in particular the ladies. As trolling wasn't enough, he continued his disruptive behavior by editing their pictures with inappropriate language. His disruption peaked today. It was a very hectic day on steemit and steemit.chat. The ladies started reporting him in steemitabuse and help channels. Check these recent posts that illustrate his abuses:

As the community started flagging @bilalhaider, he played the victim and wrote a public apology:
Then, he posted another apology @bilalhaider/apology-to-kafkanarchy84-and-my-little-fun-story. People thought he was sincere. I read it myself and thought he was sincere too, however, he edited it a few minutes later to this
He continued pestering people in the general channel. Then he came into the help channel to complain. As his reputation dwindled and dropped to zero, he suddenly shifted gears to show his true colors. Here's an example of what he did in the help channel later:
After that, he started flooding several channels such as general, steemitabuse, price (and probably other ones where I wasn't hanging out). What's worse, he changed his identity about 15-20 times, assuming a different name to flood with. Only a few moderators and admins were present at that time, so his floods went on for a few hours. I didn't really ask for it, but I was granted temporary moderator status on those channels and tagged along with the available mods to mute, block him and delete his filthy spam.

This cat and mouse game stretched for a while, I asked one admin to make the targeted channels temporarly private to prevent him from rejoining. Other people with high reputation also joined in the fight to flag this abusive steemit account: @bilalhaider
I did some extra checking into his account, and found the following abusive memos, they can be viewed in his wallet @bilalhaider/transfers
In retrospect, the same guy often came to the help channel complaining and asking help about the bandwidth issue we were having on Steem, before it was fixed in the 0.19.1 softfork. Me and the other help volunteers tried to assist him with an open heart, for several days, while the bandwidth bug was still unfixed. Obviously, he was draining his bandwidth too quickly. Today we understood why he was drained when we discovered who he truly was.
Where Do We Go From Here?
Kudos to all those stood against this abuser today, we demonstrated that collectively we CAN strike back with more punch 👊.
