"Think before you speak",
Wise words, most often missed,
Some do not understand,
Why think, when speak they can.
Words, when said right,
Can be one's light,
But words that hurt,
Brings more harm than good,
Harsh words can be lethal,
Even just a little,
Why say them,
When you know it can.
When there is an urge to speak,
Remember to self kick,
To take a step back,
And "think before you speak".
