The second "LAD" or LUV Appreciation Drop has taken place today. The LAD is simply a thank you gift to LUV token users or holders. You might wish to check your wallet.
Some details:
- Any wallet holding 25 LUV or more got a free LUV gift.
- 600 LUV total were dropped. 600 was chosen because this represents 5% of the current circulating supply (12,000 LUV).
- 5% was chosen because that is what was done with LAD round 1 (500 LUV dropped then; 10,000 LUV circulating supply at the time)
- Unlike round 1 which was equal to all, the LAD today was proportional. Those holding more LUV got a larger LAD, those with less got a lesser LAD. You can see the different LUV drops in the last column of the image below.
- However, the "top end" was capped at 300 LUV. This means that any "LUV whales" did indeed get a larger drop, but not an immensely larger drop. The hope was to reward those more involved, yet keep a degree of equality as well. It's a trade-off and a balance.
