Liverpool have unveiled their new purple away kit from New Balance for the 2018/19 campaign, and as ever supporters are divided over it on social media.
From “good to see something different” to “worst kit ever” – Liverpool fans split on new away kit.
The Reds will be fighting for success on the road in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup in the upcoming season in an all-purple number.
Similar to the home kit, there’s some nice symmetry, with the New Balance, Standard Chartered and Western Union logos all the same colour as the Liverbird badge.
LFC write that: “The kit adopts the same jacquard linear graphic to the front body of the home shirt, reflecting the architecture of Anfield’s iconic Main Stand. It also features Alpha Orange branding, highlighting key detail throughout the kit – a continuation of last season’s Third jersey which proved successful both on and off the pitch.”
