Singapore Housing Development Boards (HDB) had organised an annual event HDB’s professional engagement and knowledge-sharing (Peak) Forum 2018, and awarded HDB projects site visit.
Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong graced for forum as a platform for sharing of best industry practices. Many of architects, landscape architects, contractors, academics and researchers and related building professionals are invited to participant in this event.
The Prof Herbert Dreiseiti, who is known for his work at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park shared his insights topic: ‘Regenerative, Resilient and Liveable Cities’ at HDB Auditorium.
The theme for HDB Peak Forum 2018 is ‘Better Homes: Liveability and Community’, where shared about how HDB has been designing and providing facilities, hardscape and lush greenery to the community.

Due to I’m a full membership of Singapore Institute of Landscape Architect (SILA), I also received an invitation to participant the event.
Most interesting thing is to join the site visit to Punggol Waterway HDB site to understand the project construction and maintenance works.

新加坡组屋发展委员会(HDB)举办了一年一度的组屋发展活动的专业参与和知识分享论坛2018年，和新加坡组屋得奖项目场地访问。
国家发展部部长，黄循财将论坛作为分享最佳行业实践的分享。许多建筑师，景观设计师，承包商，学者和研究员，以及相关的建筑专业人士都被邀请参加此次的活动。
以Bishan Ang Mo Kio Park项目而闻名的Herbert Dreiseiti教授在组屋发展局 礼堂分享了他的见解主题: ’再生，有弹性的和宜居城市’。
2018新加坡组屋发展论坛的主题是’更好的家园：宜居性的社区‘，分享了组屋发展局要如何为社区设计和提供设施，硬体景观和绿色植物。
由于我是新加坡景观设计师协会(SILA)的会员,我被邀请参加此活动。最开心的是可以参观得奖的榜鹅组屋和了解此项目的建设和维修工作。
以上我分享了Kampung Admirality组屋项目的演示图，该项目获得了2018年的建屋局奖项。还有一些照片显示了全新的建筑区域，游乐场，种植的树木，沿着河边绿化的水道公园，和新一代社区中心Oasis Terrace场地的景观。
