A Challoween for caturday ! ^_^ My painting explained in a few colored steps ;-)

Hola my chubby chiwuawas from the chirpy challoween !

Today is caturday, the day I celebrate by drawing a cat for you,
why, as it is almost Halloween, I was inspired to paint a catloween, or a chaloween as I would name it in french ;-)

and here are the steps in detailed pictures...

First I sketched what popped up in my mind when I think to challoween...

then I neatly outlined with a fineliner

I colored the pumpkins with orange and yellow pencils

And decided to make a painted colorful background so

I used my wax pastels Neocolor II and then washed the lines with a wet brush

I used a stencil by wiping the color with a wet rag, to create some lovely bubbles...

Finally I created random drops by shaking a fine brush dipped in a quite diluted blue painting

Et voilà ! My challoween and its birdy friend are now ready to wish you a

HAPPY CATURDAY ^_
