Here is my up-cycled creation for this #caturday - Voici ma création recyclée pour ce Chamedi !

Begining with a sketch of course ;-)

En commençant par un croquis bien sûr ;-)
Now on a more thick paper, I have drawn the lines and covered with a layer of white Gesso because I would use some paints and like it to have a gesso-ed base for it ;-)
The first coloring is done here by using a yellow Inktense Derwent ink pencil that applies a dry colour on the background
Maintenant, sur un papier plus épais, j'ai tracé les lignes et recouvert d'une couche de gesso blanc parce que je veux peindre et que j'aime avoir une base préparée avec du gesso ;-)
La première coloration est réalisée ici en utilisant un crayon encre jaune Inktense Derwent qui applique une couleur sèche sur le fond.
and then wash it out to create a translucent ink-like effect
puis je passe un pinceau humide pour créer un effet d'encre translucide
The cat will be a blue one so I use here a mix of my Neocolor II
I apply a darker tone to help create the shadows later
...How weird does this cat look at this stage ..!? ;-)
Le chat sera bleu donc j'utilise ici un mélange de pastels Neocolor II
J'applique un ton plus sombre pour aider à créer les ombres plus tard
... ce chat a l'air bizarre à ce stade, non..!? ;-)
Then I wash it out with my wet brush, just like I did with the ink pencils....
Ensuite, je le "lave" avec mon pinceau humide, tout comme je l'ai fait avec les crayons à l'encre ...
I then cut them and placed them at the bottom of the cheese box I use as a frame
Je les ai ensuite découpés et disposés au fond de la boite à fromage pour m'en servir comme encadrement
