and in the same time, I am creating here a painting

WOW two challenges in one post !
sounds like we are badly challenging ourselves...
The challenge begins with this drawing of @kalemandra
I first printed it and took some time to observe it and be impregnated by the shapes, lines, patterns...
I looked at it in other possible directions because I'm used to create from simple spots or shapes , so it's easy for me to see a character or the beginning of a story in a shape or simple lines ...
Any pattern can be looked at upside down and inspire us then a completely different design ;-)
... that's what happened here because when I turned the sketch, I immediately saw the contours of the hair and the face of a woman ....
Well at least the premises, and then I would just have to make appear the rest .. ;-)
Then I decided to go digitally, and opened the #souldoodle in Artrage to work on my Cintiq
1/ I first erased to keep only the shape that interested me, close to "the hair" of my character
2/ I drew the eyes and eyelids with a pencil
3/ Then the mouth and lips
4/ I draw a body and harms and here I spray some colors to be on paper the same like the face...
5/ Now adding some lines to go along with kalemandra's doodle spirit
I've decided to come more close and erase more around the hair
In fact, everything comes to me along the path, I didn't intend more than using the doodle as a femal face, all the details are coming right at time,
As the work progresses, the ideas come to me and slip naturally in the process
... it is easy, simply be inspired by the creation that is eager to appear ... in any case
it's this way I perform every time ;-)
I decide now to add my colorful painting to create her a joyful background,...The painting is not digitally made, it is acrylic painting that I have scanned here to use as my background
Adding some shadows...
I would now use the "nose" pattern to create a heart design on her shirt, that I tint with some colors of the background
And then I feel attracted to use this pattern again and create a bird, a bird perched on her hand =))
