Here is one portrait drawing i did not long time ago. This one was from the same woman who commissioned a portrait of the poet i posted here a day ago. It was the same person. All works including this one was on A3 size.
This with no doubt takes a spot on the top in my portrait drawings. I love how i did hair in this one, the highlights this time incredibly suits the drawing and makes it stand out, also here i smudged the background darker than usual, because the portrait is very light, no black suit or jumper also, that is why i choose to make the drawing stand out my making the background very dark.
The texture of the face and the eyes i like also in this one, in overall a great portrait.
Now it is getting very busy, i have 3 active portraits which i have to do, and more will come with every day i guess, because of the Christmas time, and with every day more and more people are searching for the ideas, for the presents. I am waiting for them with open arms, and ready to work some extra hours, last year starting December until around 23th i did one portrait drawing a day!! It was crazy time last year, but still enjoyed it.
