New Painting: Alchemy: Dragon, Mermaid with Sigil, Part 1

I started a new painting based on a Sigil, using alchemical symbology, for myself...but others will be helped.

Sigil 1

I have a job I love
Originally, I made this sigil for myself. The unemployment insurance of federal reserve notes, which I have been living off of for the last 5 months is going to run out in a few months...

Sigil 2

which fully supports me financially
And I am a little worried. Nothing horrifies me more to imagine having to get a job during "Christmas"

So, to talk to my subconscious mind, to ensure that it is getting it done, I am just going to make this painting...with the sigil embedded in the dragons head.

Dragon

"Another symbol of this stage (Calcination) was the dragon, a familiar inhabitant of the alchemists flasks. The dragon is however a more complex symbol and is also used when winged as a symbol for the spiritualising of the earthly substance. Thus to the alchemists the dragon appeared at the beginning and at the end of the work." - Adam Mclean

I am using this alchemical drawing as a reference, by Basil Valentine... I will include the planets and the symbol of Freemasonry - the T-square and the Compass

on a canvas I found on the street the other day 19" x 30"

but of course, I decided to make myself a mermaid again - mainly this has to do with that I lead with my intuition, so I don't fit anywhere really in this current world. But, I do agree with the philosophy that our origins were that of "interference" by an alien race - that came from another planet, and live under the sea...

Sigil in Dragon Head

having done this dragon dachshund sketch last night

)
I did this sketch this afternoon...

Basic Painting

Oil on canvas, I have to let it dry a little before I can start to work on it... the Chalice and the Blade mean the balance of left and right side of the brain, masculine and feminine principle, in this job...
