Why I Paint Naked Art. The Story of PORN, EMINEM and Asa Akira.

WARNING- EXPLICIT CONTENT! People in North America are very scared of nudity. That was one thing I slowly came to realize after I moved from Europe to Canada.

Nudity is still a taboo subject in most of modern world, even (especially?) in the “land of the free”, as if it was something dirty. Perhaps future humans will be born with clothes because it's less embarrassing? Social conditioning with regards to nudity is extraordinary. And the funny part of it is that it is completely contradictory.

On one side, we have thriving millions dollar porn industry, brainwashing the youth with a very unhealthy depiction of sexual union of man and woman, in most cases based on complete male domination of woman. Porn spread like cancer in past decade and is widely available for free on countless websites, that any child with a smart phone can access.

“Modern” porn, ever more hard core and “innovative”, distorts the image of sex severely, seeding many complexes in young people’s mind about how sex should be performed and how a sexual organ should look like.
I'm no saint. I used to watch porn. I have been addicted to it. And having broken the spell it had over me, I can tell with clarity how very damaging it is on creativity, focus, energy level, quality of thoughts, concentration, integrity, relationship to women etc. And how very liberating it is to reclaim the power it had over me.

Porn is not a celebration of human sexuality. Modern porn is not erotic, it is not art. It is aggressive. It is a degradation of feminine beauty.

Caught in the act again. Thanks God I censored the most sensitive part of it!:)

On the other side, we have modern parents fanatically covering their little kids with swimming suits on the beach, as if the children cared to feel the plastic clothes on their skin. As if anyone present was embarrassed by their innocence.

Once I was at Okanagan lake with my friend, and she was tanning topless on the public beach. She got literally attacked by group of 40ish years old women, who called her all sorts of slut names, cursing how she was polluting their kids. I had a quick look at their kids. They were all playing in the sand, happy dirty bundles of joy, and did not give as much as a glimpse to the titties of my friend. The ladies ended up calling cops, which I found amusing. Cops came and told the women to calm down, because topless tanning is legal in BC.

This story shows how very comfortable modern human is with nudity. We lose our shit over pair of boobies but we have a jerk fest watching porn in secret every other moment when we feel crappy. Just to escape the low feeling of emptiness inside.

What I find most hilarious symptom of today's arch-hypocritical society is the explicit language censoring laws. You know, when your favourite Eminem song loses it's rhythm and punch because all of a sudden it's filled with stupid pauses.

Dear Slim, you still ain't called or wrote, I hope you have a chance
I ain't mad - I just think it's FUCKED UP you don't answer fans.

Forget it. These were good old times when you could hear a song with Shit in it on the radio. Now the “concerned” government will make sure that Slim Shady won't fuck you up. Because it wants you to stay untainted by the evil of F word.

But obviously, the very same government is fine when your kids can watch Asa Akira getting gang banged in the ass while proclaiming herself to be all sorts of fascinating things, only to later proceed to a cum swap with her girlfriend.
And the ceaseless violence and war propaganda in movies and news. And zillion other stinky lies.

So why do I monger about all this? One day I paid tribute to the divine beauty of one of my friends by painting her. She is the one in this painting, which is called “The Power of Feminine”. I think she is truly beautiful, in all her full-bodied nakedness. When I was painting her, I was in state of veneration of something sacred. When I posted it online, one of my facebook friends (30 something female) publicly expressed her indignation at my creation, and how dare I call this perverse thing art.

Finished piece. The "Power of Feminine" in all its 8 feet splendor

Ok well, if nudity is not art and not beautiful, then a damn long line up of centuries of the most renowned pieces of art must have missed the point. Perverted Manet screwed up with “Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe” and Michelangelo should have sculpted David with underwear.

In the state of veneration

And just FYI. I ain't got a damn problem with sex. I banged my way through this world if I'm making myself clear. And I ain't got a damn problem with porn either. I think Asa is master of her craft and I'd give it to her given the chance. If porn makes your life better, keep on watching baby, keep on tugging that thing in the palm of your hand, cause apparently it's better than the real thing.

But if anyone tells me that nudity is dirty and female body is not the most exquisite expression of art, then I might just as well tell you to go ____ yourself.

P.S. I shell continue painting boobies and bums. Like it or not. More to come!

Peace,
Jan
