Berlin, Street Art and Graffiti - Serie I - The begining

Berlin, the German capital includes the highest concentration of urban art from across the continent, could say without risk of error that Berlin is not a city, it is a gallery. Since the fall of the wall it has become the capital from the artists and creative people in Europe, where freedom and trends go hand in hand.

To understand this development in the city we have to go a few decades ago when there was all controlled without freedom with a gray architecture that occupied the streets of East Berlin model. Once the wall fallen in 1989 and the reunification in the nineties they where a lot of empty places. So, the repressed people of the Soviet bloc and artists from around the world start gathered in the city and the colors and art began to float everywhere. From full control to full freedom!

This will be a series. My idea is that every time I go out on the bike I will take pictures of the Graffitis I find along the way. And it starts today.

Hope you all enjoy it.
