Part 1 of me painting Mow Cop castle in Cheshire UK. I painted this a while back but changed my mind on how I wanted it to look so I kept going until I was happy with the style. I wanted something more gothic and more in an old master style. The original painting was in acrylics and looked a bit too bright so I spent quite some time making it more dynamic and a lot more detailed whilst changing over to oil paints.
