Last friday we took a walk down to the Joan Miro Foundation and I managed to get some great pictures of some his work.
Joan Miro was a Spanish painter, ceramicist and sculptor and in 1981 the Joan miro y Pilar foundation was built here in Palma de Mallorca.

Earning international acclaim, his work has been interpreted as Surrealism, a sandbox for the subconscious mind, a re-creation of the childlike, and a manifestation of Catalan pride. In numerous interviews dating from the 1930s onwards, MirĂ³ expressed contempt for conventional painting methods as a way of supporting bourgeois society, and famously declared an "assassination of painting" in favour of upsetting the visual elements of established painting. Photography with flash is not allowed inside the museum but I think the pictures turned out pretty good.
Im trying to enjoy new things thanks to my treatment and I must say I really enjoyed my visit here.
