Janeta, 2017
This painting is supposed to feel like a high fashion take on someone who works in fashion. The colors, contrasts, everything was chosen as if it were designed to be a piece of high-end clothing, furniture or... art.
Who is Janeta?
Janeta is a shoe designer for her own fashion brand selling high fashion shoes for women.

Original
The gold in her hair is supposed to show how it fades. Her jacket is this really cool texture that I want to reflect. And her boots were a very glossy material that I used some oil mixed with the paint to have it slightly glossed. The light green couch material was carefully mixed to contrast the texture and black boots.
This painting is a case where her face turned out more masculine than I intended, but because she is working in fashion I wanted to embrace the edginess of that look and keep it.
