A bit more experimentation today, and a lot more mess!
I created these angels by rolling acrylic paint on to book pages, and then leaving it to dry. I used oil pastel and wax to draw the images of the angels and then added watercolour over the oil pastel.
The watercolours resisted the wax and oil pastels, so once dry they left a speckled effect on the waxed areas of the paper and the colours soaked into the non waxed areas.
I completed the picture using metallic pen to add accents of silver.
The outcomes
I now have a bit of a mess to tidy up!
