First Painting:

I was inspired to Paint such a setting, thinking back to when I was a Teenager getting up 3 o'clock in the morning, taking my Telescope outside in the Dark Night looking at the different Objects the Universe presented to me and as Dawn was approaching I would run back into the Bush on top of the near by Mountain and watch the Sunrise come up behind King-Mountain and enjoying the sun rays lighting up the tree tops from behind. It is just a beautiful way to start off the Day.

Second Painting:

Hear I had this photo of my young boy in mind from a while back and he's always in his good mood modus and I combined it with the rising sun coming up from behind our planets horizon which supports this feeling in a cartoon setting. It makes me smile every time I walk past it and take a quick look.

This should reflect the shy feelings of a young man while he walks towards three beautiful women in a group talking to one another. What is going through his mind now, “ … are they talking about me … are they posing … boy am I nervous … don't screw this up now … please !”

Beautiful Brazil, tropical fire destroying many acres. What started the fire, … was it lightning, … No, … it the fire was set on purpose to clear the Land for farming. How sad is that !
