Join An Amazing Collaborative Art Experiment

There is an empty canvas.

You may place a pixel upon it, but you must wait to place another.

Individually you can create something.

Together you can create something more.

On April Fools' Day, a social experiment was launched in the form of a subreddit called "Place". It featured a collaborative pixel art canvas, where each user could choose one of 16 colors and one pixel only. Five minutes later one could place another pixel on the canvas. For the next 72 hours, millions of people worked together to create something extraordinary - a live snapshot of the internet. With time, as more and more people collaborated from different corners of the internet, the canvas became alive. You can see different nations rise, memes, quotations, and countless many images.

It would be really cool if Steemit can make a similar experiment. Join me at http://pxls.space, coordinates 344X814 and help me put Steemit's logo.
