Eleven days have passed since I released a manga project…
Setting of various characters, clothes 150 years ago, life, name that was popular, spirituality, it is very hard to investigate😬
Especially translation work is very difficult…Current Japanese and 150 years ago Japanese are quite different.
The meaning of Japanese can not be expressed in English too much…because the spirit that Japanese people cultivated in a long history has various meanings and is put in words.
It is not about "Which is better?"
I am acutely aware that the difference in language is also great when culture and history are different.
But I am not totally negative about this situation!
I think that this situation is difficult, But I think it is wonderful thing worth challenging!
I am practicing a picture of an old Japanese woman a bit too!
I do not draw women's pictures too much…
Because I grew up with Dragon ball (after Digimon)😆
So it was a child drawing warriors and monsters only🤣
But I would like to draw a beautiful old
Japanese woman of the past.
The reason why they are beautiful is not only looks but also their spirit! I will draw it with manga too🙂
