I’ve been having some trouble with my internet connection but I am back looking forward to sharing with you another artwork of mine. Today I will show you my hubby’s favorite, The Gipsy Girl. Women of the Roma tribes lead often a very difficult and misguided life according to western standards; however gipsy women are strong in advocating in favor of this culture.
My Gipsy Girl is a beautiful girl that could have been a princess but she is selling small jewelry and lucky charms for pennies. She is optimistic. In her head she is dreaming of a better life. She is strong and proud. My Gipsy Girl is handmade out of grey ceramic clay and is around 30cm/ 12 in high.
