Fighting the animal nature in the human body? Freud has talked about the "ich" that wants to resist the "es" and reach the perfection of the "über-ich" in this context. In daily life we mostly live without reflecting our actions in the moment of action but instead we reflect on ourselves to create behavioral patterns that we apply naturally in the future. These patterns consist of our best imagination of ourselves and still inherit our animal nature. Yet the society "shames" the animal nature while abstracting it from our rational self and using it to currupt our senses in a way that sexuality and human interaction become a product of consumn. Is there a chance for us to reach a point where integrating our animal nature into our human existence brings a new affirmation of the self that is able to view new horizons within the beautiful patterns of nature?
