Heyhihelloha out there,
I went on a trip. An out of this world trip, full of spectacular sights and lovely landscapes.
This Alien atmosphere, was like none I'd ever encountered.
I was surrounded in a warm glow, it was like love emanated from the very air upon me, filling me inside and out with delicious bliss.
I captured a few photographs from my time on this alien planet, and even one or two of my alien host. I have reason to believe that the waves of love that flowed through me on this journey came from one source, him.
I could question how things came to be this way. How did I end up in this land with wild formations, colors, and shapes? How did this most amazing creation come into my life and fill my heart this way? Fate? Science? I may be uncertain, but it doesn't feel wrong.
Though my time there was short, it will forever leave an imprint on my mind, and my heart. I will keep following the spiraling path on which I have set forth, to the light and life I have glimpsed up ahead.
Much love,

To follow the rules of the #artexplosion contest, I need to show some process pics my art.
Basically, I took some cool pics on my phone and edited them mercilessly until they looked as I wanted them to, surreal, spacey, alien.
Here are some original photographs.
This one I played with the colors and saturation and enhanced the detail so that the streaking and pitting in the massive rock really stood out. I added a few fun filters to get that outer space skyline.
I changed this one a lot, used mirroring and many many filters and color tweaks to bring the focus to the middle, the sacred space, the tree of life that doesn't look like much to the naked eye, but has a lot of personal significance. The image created from this photo is my favorite of the lot.
A cute, simple, awkward selfle, turned into a deep lovewave introspection. I painted over the rocks to make them pinky purpley sparkley love mist and tweaked tweaked tweaked the colors and added a solarization effect to take this image to the limit.
I hope these descriptions of my process explain enough to make this a valid entry. Its muh first time!
Again,
Much love,
@amymya
