There are a lot of well-known Taipei architectures in this painting. It was drawn for the need of my job.
Taipei 101
Taipei 101 is the tallest building in Taiwan and an important landmark in Taipei.
The skyscraper is 509.2 meters high and was the tallest skyscraper in the world when the building was opened in 2003. This record lasted for about five years and was replaced by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was built to commemorate the late President Chiang Kai-shek.
In addition to the main building, the National Theatre and the National Concert Hall were built on both sides. The square in front of the building was later renamed Liberty Square.
The main building of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall emulates the glazed tile octagonal roof of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing which represents the eight virtues. The human figure hidden in it symbolizes the unity of nature and human.
The "Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall", "Front Archway", "Freedom Square" and "Corridor" in the park are all included in the National Monument.
The Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall
The Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall was built to commemorate the founding father, Sun Yat-sen, and the main building is the Tang Dynasty style.
Miramar Ferris wheel
This Ferris wheel is located at the top of the Miramar shopping mall. Although it is not the highest Ferris wheel in Taiwan, it is the highest-known and most popular Ferris wheel.
It was once voted by Taipei residents for "Ten buildings in Taipei City." The ranking is second only to Taipei 101, so you can see how popular it is.
