I was working the bar at the downtown Starbucks like most Thursday Nights, and this young and very attractive woman came on to me.
She was telling me how much I looked like her friend and that I acted like him as well. She told me her friend likes the outdoors and likes to hike. I told her that I go to the mountains a few times a week, and she asked me when I would be available to go up to the mountains again. I was shocked about how strong she was coming on to me. It's like she was planning our first date right then and there.
I told her that I take my two young sons with me when I drive up to the mountains. My hearing isn't the best, so I'm not sure what she said after she told me that it was nice to meet me.
My female co-worker was shocked about how strong this younger woman was coming on to me, but not as shocked as I was. I was actually getting uncomfortable at the end of the conversation.
I've been told that my nice comes across as flirting, but I didn't say anything to make her think that I was interested in anything more than making her soy hazelnut latte. I must of made that soy latte spot on.
