Mantiques - Oh, how I despise that term (but not the stuff!)

"Mantiques" is a term that is supposed to refer to items that will specifically appeal to male collectors. Stuff they can put in their "Mancave"! I need to explain that my hatred of those terms is totally irrational. I've seen a couple of decor shows that create rooms that are supposed to provide a retreat for those of the female persuasion. I can't remember what they called them. Perhaps I bleached the term right out of my mind! Despite my unreasoning dislike of such terms (feel free to psycho-analyse  me) I concede that there are certain collectibles that appeal more to the respective genders. If you are a man you may enjoy these items I have recently listed on my online auction site. If you are a woman, you may like them too!

Fantastic old oil crates! Very decorative.

Above is the first pipe bag I have ever listed and below is a metal and wood cigarette box, engraved 1939.

I have sold many of these retro tyre ashtrays, and their popularity never wanes. The push and swivel ashtrays are also in demand. The one below is made in Hong Kong, a place of origin which has become desirable among collectors of retro kitsch.

Men's grooming! Razors are a popular collectible!

A vintage oil can and old rugby photo are great decor pieces too.

Honestly, cuff links aren't terribly in demand, but I really like these.

Lastly (for now) I will leave you with this most gentlemanly of gadgets, The Acme Tie Press. No excuses for wrinkled ties accepted!!!
