This might be the best name I have ever seen for any beer, ever. It's also a pretty good beer to boot.
Big Sky Brewing Company is located in Missoula, Montana and their brown ale is quite refreshing despite the potentially-unappealing "Moose Drool" name. It's not especially strong at 5.1% ABV, and it's not very bitter at only 26 IBU over a slightly-sweet malty taste. There's a bit of a coffee/cocoa hint to the flavor, too.
I don't have a lot of comparisons for this. It's a lot milder overall than Quilter's Irish Death. I once tried a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale, but that one was skunked, and I haven't been interested in trying again. Lesson learned: Never buy beer sold in clear glass bottles. Fortunately, the glass used to bottle Moose Drool is as brown as the beer it contains.
Availability is doubtless quite regional in the northern and western states of the US, but if you find this for sale somewhere, I suggest giving it a try!
