The 38th edition of Heineken Regatta Sint Martin is going to start tomorrow! That means lots of sailing, lots of boats and lots of beers! This annual 4 day event is a highlight in festivities on our island, and I am really looking forward to it.

Sailing
There will be 4 days of sailing racing in all kinds of categories and sizes of boats. BF is in luck he is on a racing boat called no1sxm tomorrow which is a tri-maran. Those things are fast!!
The wind is predicted to be a bit slow in the next couple of days, but that can also be a big challenge for sailing. Windguru is my favorite site for watersport predictions in wind. Normally the wind here is ALWAYS but I mean always from the east, but it might change a bit these days.
Party Hardy
Heineken Regattas festivities are notorious, they always seem to get big names to come and join the party! UB40, LMFAO, Kool and the Gang are big names I've seen there in previous editions. And even this year after the hurricane they still managed to get good names. On Saturday we have Destra visting, and on Sunday Shaggy will hit the stage.

My regatta
Most likely I will not be on any boat this year, but who knows what will pop up all of a sudden. So what I am doing?? I'm bartending in the weekend next to the stage! That means having all the music, and getting paid for it as well ;)

Beersaturday
So my #beersaturday this week will be one of Heineken beers. Nothing special, but just a convenient island drink . Don't let them go warm, and find my bar in time to get some new ones :D
