You need funds in your Account.

BitShares

• Go to https://shapeshift.io/#/coins to exchange Bitcoin or other altcoins to BitShares
  Note: In BitShares, your Account Name = Your Address

Bitcoin

You can send Bitcoin directly via OPEN.BTC Deposit.

• Go to Deposit/Withdraw
• Select Transfer Service Openldeger (OPEN.X)
• Select BTC as deposit option and send Bitcoin to the address
